Can we just agree that there are wack jobs on both sides? No kidding. I love that because the other side has lunatics that spew hatred, then it is considered ok that your own side does the same. Both sides have their crazies & people that make hateful statements & it shouldn't be acceptable for people on either side to talk like this.

Once again, this has been repeated ad infinitum in this thread. It isn't the point. The point is that the rhetoric from the left is more frequently violent than that from the right, and the violent hate speech from the left tends to be ignored by the media, while the (fewer) examples from the right are focused on with laser-like intensity by the rabidly partisan left-wing media...

Yes there was, Death of a President, a liberal wish-fulfillment film where George W. Bush is assassinated, and the killer gets away with it! It's a British film, though, but predictably liberal in it's treatment of the subject. Just imagine if someone made a film like that now, where Barack Obama is gunned down and the killer escapes. Think of the shrieking from the media... Not sure of the entire plot & not sure if was ever released, but there was a movie made about the assassination of Obama also: www2.wsls.com/news/2009/aug/03/local_obama_assassination_movie-ar-374628/

Please, the right is just as bad as the left. Just because you can find examples of the left doing this doesn't mean that somehow the right does it less.

so you agree with me that neolibs and neocons are more dangerous than tea party members and independents and that the MSM is in the bag and the federal govt made up of people from each division of the same league is the biggest threat to our freedoms and way of life? ;D

If those count, then my last trip to Disneyland should be up for the Best Documentary Oscar next year. In any case, the link you provided is a video about an assassination attempt. Death of a President depicts a successful assassination of Bush, and to even more liberal delight, the failure of the FBI to catch the perpetrator...it's really a good encapsulation of the liberal zeitgeist, circa 2005-2007, when death threats against Bush from Hollywood, the media and liberal politicians were a regular occurence...

I'll call your " fictional" evidence, and raise you 1 reality: "Barack Obama faces 30 death threats a day, stretching US Secret Service" www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/barackobama/5967942/Barack-Obama-faces-30-death-threats-a-day-stretching-US-Secret-Service.html... "Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service." ... Look, a real side by side comparison, and not some piecemeal collection of anecdotal evidence. (I canz google teh internetz 4 occurances 2) Oh, and does some theater group compare to say when Glenn Beck gave a cardboard cutout of Nancy Pelosi poisoned wine? How many hundreds of people saw that show while how many thousands saw Beck? None of it is appropriate, but C0nservatives sure do have a hard time telling the difference between fringe and mainstream. Free hint! If the audience is very, very small and radical it's probably fringe. If it's large, it's probably mainstream.

So you deny that the movie exists. Interesting. I've seen denial before but this is an acute case...

I'm starting to think Ed is actually paid by the people who made that movie to advertise it. I think he gets $1 every time he mentions it.
How is it news that there are people on both sides who say stupid shit?
And those people were soooo stoned! LOL! That was kinda awesome.

Never said it was. My point (repeated now for the third time) is that violent rhetoric from the left is both more frequent and less reported-on than that from the right...but, by all means, please continue ignoring that fact and posting your moral relativisms...

the ignorance of the American public in general is startling. almost to a person in the vid, everyone was blatantly out of it, unenlightened, plain stupid aholes.
this is what you get at neo con rallies as well.
now we need to discern which side has a greater proportion of these nincomepoops or if it is 50/50.
as far as tea party rallies(the third movement), i'm hoping the percentage is low.

Please post your link to a video of a "neo-con rally" where the protestors are calling for the lynching of a black Supreme Court justice, I think I missed that one...

Ah yes, intoxicated people discussing a lynching is downright hilarious, Senator Byrd! Any more witticisms?

Less reported on my ass. That's all you hear about on Fox. You see the same amount of violent rhetoric on both sides of the spectrum. You just like only pointing on the ones that the left is guilty of.. and Lakhota points it out about people on the right. And Balance is maintained. And I didn't say what they were saying was funny. I said the fact that they were stoned was funny. But you keep right on digging. Do you have video of the signs the crowd was holding? Because I can find pictures of entire crowds comparing Obama to Hitler (which I'm sure is a friendly comparison... I mean.. nobody wanted to execute Hitler).

The problem is that your point that you keep repeating is not supported by your evidence. One small group calling for a lynching or you list of 10 does not prove that the left has more violent rhetoric than the right. At best all you have proven is the left indeed has violent rhetoric.

Liberals should never be listened to or allowed to have political power of any kind. They are delusional and can't handle any kind of power without it going to there head. JoeBanker You won't mind too terribly if we don't listen to your opinion? Typical as liberals just ignore the truth. JoeBanker

So you deny that the movie exists. Interesting. I've seen denial before but this is an acute case... I deny that he was actually assassinated or an attempt was made, hence the movie was fictional. Any more words you need help with? Or was that just a desperate deflection? Hoping to bury this, eh?: "Since Mr Obama took office, the rate of threats against the president has increased 400 per cent from the 3,000 a year or so under President George W. Bush, according to Ronald Kessler, author of In the President's Secret Service." ... Look, a real side by side comparison, and not some piecemeal collection of anecdotal evidence.
