Am I cheap? One of my favorite moderately priced restaurants is having a gift certificate sale for the holidays. If you buy $50.00 worth you get $10.00 free. Every time we go, I have been buying certificates for us. It is a free 20%. Would you do this?

Definitely. The fact it's one of your favorite places is a bonus. Go for it Blue.

I always do that. The only downside is if the business goes under. I know a few people that got stuck with gift certificates from a restaurant that closed...

Since you frequent the place, why not take advantage of a little bonus?

If it is someplace I go often, I sure would take advantage of it.

If it is a favorite restaurant I would. However...... I had a friend who recently purchased a great deal for a Tanning Salon -- That's right you guessed it. The Tanning Salon was out of business when she went to use it. So beware - There's a lot of desperate and crooked people out there!

Tina, it is Pasquale's. They have been around for at least 20 years and just recently expanded to handle "the crowds". I hope they are doing well.
Their Alfredo Sauce is to die for!
