I put the picture's address in google and it is called Zhajiangmian. Per Wiki, it is a Chinese dish consisting of thick wheat noodles topped with a mixture of ground pork stir-fried with "zhajiang" which is salty fermented soybean paste. Ha. Though I'm sure I consume plenty of stuff that has been fermented, as soon as that word is introduced in the description the appeal drops way off, doesn't it?

Amy's is an excellent brand for frozen stuff in general. But don't you have to sacrifice stuff like flavor? ETA: I mean, let's be honest, I'd rather eat 800 amazingly delicious calories than 400 meh calories... Amy's has some really good frozen foods! I also like their pea soup and lentil soup.

The Chinese introduced it to Korea where it's called jajangmyun. Very popular with the kids. Sweet, salty, and lots of deep, fun flavor. Garlic, sesame, roasted pork.
The one time I didn't like it was when my mom ordered it with some sort of sea cucumber. Every time you knocked the table it wiggled like it was alive. Very Star Trek.

I drink fermented stuff a lot! LOL. Yeah, I figure most of my consumption of fermented products is in liquid form. Delicious, heavenly, liquid form. But if someone says to me "you want this pile of fermented meat?" my response is not likely to be "mmmmmmmmmmm, fermented". ETA: After a quick re-read of my response I have to say if someone asked me that exact question my response would probably be "keep your meat away from me or I'll call 911"
