I am going to visit my mom in the hospital. Then we have the Annual Pumpkin roll where the kids get to roll their rotted pumpkins down a huge old brick street and they get ribbons. Then, i am going to cook some "mini chickens' cornish hens with stuffing and taters and gravy and probably some homemade bread. After that i have to work on the balancing the books for my business. Then, i am going to diagram the Quick Offense on paper and make handouts for dd's basketball team as well as review the Bball rules on fouls and violations and make additional handouts. After that, i dunno.

I'm probably not going anywhere. I want to hang onto the gas I have because I soooo don't want to wait on the gas lines here. I might take the short walk to the grocery store later just for something to do. And watch football!

I'm going for a 6 mile RT to the top of our local mountain. We are having drop dead gorgeous weather. Then I'm going to REI to finally use the gift certificate I got last Christmas from the MIL. I need a new hydration pack for my upcoming trip to AZ. My friends will all make fun of me with my YM approved duct-tape repaired shoulder straps.

Let me know if the chicken in the crockpot is good and if, so what was the recipe, please. Slept in 'till 8 (needed it, didn't get home until after 1), got up, make breakfast, did laundry, cleaned up the boat from last night, read last 2 days' paper and started a puzzle with youngest son. A friend called and found a sunfish boat she wants to buy, but it's 2 hours away and she doesn't own a trailer, so in an hour, I'm picking up a trailer we're borrowing from another friend, loading up whatever kids are around into my SUV and heading out on a road trip. Road trip, road trip...

Went to mass and then out to brunch and stuffed myself with french toast. I have laundry and light cleaning to do, as well as going to the gym. I am hoping to just kick back and get some rest today, last week was rough and I am still feeling drained.

In a bit I'm going to pick the kids up from their father's. Then we are going to the community college to see the Theatre students in "Dracula", then we're are going to a year-end dinner with DD's volleyball team.

We are going for a walk. We ate up leftovers in the fridge and freezer for lunch. I decided not to work any overtime today. I found out from DH that he's always wanted to go to Hawaii and I haven't been there in 38 years, and we're in the beginning stages of planning that. We want to go to the big island so we can see volcanos. We're looking at either trying to get a Kona Coast condo which has had a cancellation, or we're looking at the Sheraton Kona Resort at Keauhou Bay. We're looking at trip packages thru Book-It.
Any suggestions and experiences would be welcome.

We have great weather, so I am working in the yard.
I am also going to try my hand at making salsa from our over-abundance of tomatoes.

Laundry, cleaning the bathrooms, probably making soup later and driving down to the Marathon station to get a newspaper.
DH is in the garage finishing up the two chairs he's building for his parents for Christmas, and installing a stereo in his Jeep.
Yesterday a few friends and I spent almost 10 hours wedding/bridesmaid dress shopping, so it's nice to be lazy!

I'm studying for some IT certification tests that I'm taking over the next 10 days ahead of my 3 week training at the end of the month.

I'm supposed to be working to finish a donation quilt that will be given to our local Fire Dept. I have a deadline....so much for that!! I don't like the quilt, and I'm having a terrible time getting myself into my sewing room. So far today I've managed to goof off since about 9AM.
I need to get this done, but I just don't want to. This is the first time I've ever not wanted to finish one.....

Trying not to re-trigger the migraine and accompanying nausea that kept me whimpering in the fetal position from Friday midday through yesterday night. I have a business trip tomorrow through Thursday; can't afford a repeat performance. Other than that: laundry, watching football, packing. I probably need to go buy a new belt and maybe one or two other things. Oh, and I have to go pick a bunch of Meyer lemons off the tree to take with me.

Had three photoshoots today. I'm wiped. Also laundry, paying bills, cleaned kitchen, swept floor. It's only noon! Will be going out today to buy Christmas decorations for the front lawn.

How could you all DO all those things you are claiming you are doing and type about it? I had pictured zib painting basement and planting bulbs all with one hand while typing here with another....
And swamp! How was that chicken? I have a crock pot but used once and feeling like all the stuff in it boiled. And I refuse to brown it before putting in crockpot. Defeats the purpose. Any ideas?

I did pilates, got rid of old purses and shoes, went for a quick jog. I'm just sitting on my ass watching football now.

I will look at packages thru Book-It now that you suggested it. I have just been looking at the cost of flights and hotels. And I don't know how big Maui is. I know I will need a shuttle of some kind to get me around but haven't looked too far into that.

I washed one load of jeans, sat at the computer till 11:30 then had lunch with my mom and dad and niece and then cleaned out the drain in my shower. I need to do another load of laundry and clean more but I probably won't get off the computer long enough to do anything. ;D

Nursing a little hangover from a great party that lasted until wee hours of the night/morning, doing laundry, unloaded the dishwasher, etc. DH took my car in to have it detailed and will be coming home with the best barbecue ever so I won't have to cook tonight!

Well we still don't have power, so I'm sitting in my IL's living room "watching" the Giants/Steelers game and holding a napping DS.

I made chicken for chicken burritos. 2 boneless chicken breasts, one small diced onion, some diced peppers, salt, pepper, cumin, garlic, chili powder, cilantro, and a little bit of water.

Went to Urgent Care for a cold that is way too tenacious, did some errands for a disabled friend, forgot to do errands for myself, did 2 loads of laundry, took a nap. Folded some laundry, tried not to throw up, working on drinking enough water. Also Swamp's recipe is making me hungry.

Went to church. Burned almost 700 calories in a bicycle ride/health club workout and picked up some groceries on my ride back home. Made hotel reservations for Paris next May. Started another knitting project (chemo cap to donate) and talked to my parents. Back to work tomorrow.
