Now if I can just find some puppies to walk by my window, life would be complete.

I can't see pics here at work, sunrnr (at least most of them). Did you post pics of your family? Actually, they're pictures of my two fur animals ....

Wow. Snrnr? I hope you didn't think I was making fun. My dog is my family. I certainly wasn't doing that.
This is just a bit too sensitive for me. I like joking and playing around. It was fun while it lasted and remember to smile a bit now and then!!
Come on over to the Bad Mood thread if you want a laugh or two!

I seem to be hyper sensitive this past week or so for some reason. I guess my thick skin is starting to thin out with old age. Annie needs to take me out for a walk in the snow now ...... Oh, bye the way frankq says hi and thank you.

That was when she was younger than she is now, but still a princess. Mr. Riley is going on 19 years. He's a tough one.

Scratched his nose and bit his leg. Leg puffed up pretty bad. Had to get him on some whacky special cat bite anti-biotic. cat stayed up in a tree in our back yard for hours after the altercation though. Probably counting it's remaining lives.

Just for you sunnr ;D I was blue, just as blue as I could be Ev'ry day was a cloudy day for me Then good luck came a-knocking at my door Skies were gray but they're not gray anymore Blue skies Smiling at me Nothing but blue skies Do I see Bluebirds Singing a song Nothing but bluebirds All day long Never saw the sun shining so bright Never saw things going so right Noticing the days hurrying by When you're in love, my how they fly Blue days All of them gone Nothing but blue skies From now on

I first watched that movie when I was six years old. It scared me half to death. For a six-year-old, it has some incredibly dark and frightening themes. I agree. My kids (6 & 8 now) have a copy of it though and they've watched it a good 20 times. It's one of their 'car' movies. They've been watching it for years. So now you have me wondering. were the bad dreams one of them was having of a red bull chasing her related to this? I thought it was some stupid commercial they saw about an energy drink... (j/k) I think kids are a bit more used to these things than I was watching Bugs.

The title is misleading, Drifter. It's a very light-hearted, non-political, completely unserious thread where a few of us just goof around. Which is completely up my alley, by the way!

It started as a joke, sunrnr. A friend of mine here suggested my feet in the flipflops was a bit girly and boring. I found something quite the opposite! Plus? I was in a bit of a snit that day and it seemed appropriate.

LOL!! I admit to having my bad days, sunrnr. Usually, I'm quite easygoing. I blame it on hormones....or a severe chocolate deficiency...whichever excuse is handy!!

Not a movie for young kids. There was a movie out recently called "Coraline" that was one of those stop motion animations for "kids" based on a Neil Gaiman novel. It's rated PG (at least, thank goodness), but it has a trailer that makes it seem as though it's one of those wacky movies kids might like. All I can say to parents of young children is to treat "Coraline" as PG13 at best. It will absolutely scare the snot out of young children.
