Made it to CVS today. Two strange coupon things happened. Last week, got a $5 off of some odd named vitamins that I couldn't find on the shelf. Asked the mgr where I could find these vitamins and she said that this particular CRT was actually scanning as a $5 Burts Bees ? Second strangeness, a lady waiting in line gave me a $2 CVS battery Q(she said it came in some Halloween stuff that her son got at a party). It scanned for $5 instead of $2! In addition, I got a $5 off Lumene Q(free face cream). So, here are my transactions: Transaction #1 (4) HE Shampoo 11.96 Aussie Shampoo 2.99 (2) Charmin 12pk 11.54 Glide Floss 2.99 CVS 8pk D batteries 5.99 Tax 2.44 SubTotal = 37.91 - 13.98 ( 2 x HE BOGO MC) -$1/1 Aussie -$1/2 Charmin -$1/1 Glide Floss -$5/1 CVS Battery -$13 ECB Total = 2.93(cleared with GC) ==> $10 ECB P&G, $1 ECB bag tag Transaction #2 Lumene Vit C cream 3.99 Burt Bees Lipshine 4.99 CVS quilted PTowel 2.49 tax 0.45 Sub Total 11.92 -1.99 Ptowel CRT -3.99 Lumene CRT -3.62 Burts Bees CRT - 1.87 (25% off CRT) Total = 0.45, cleared with GC

SAM814 -
Do I have to wait until 11/1 for the Lumene deal? I printed 5 of the Facebook pdf's and would love to use them.
I wasn't able to do the Aveeno deal because they only had 1 of the small size bottles. I did do a Eucerin deal. Did I see it here or WUC?
You can print a $1/1 coupon on their eucerinus.com web page. Just click on any product and it will bring up a coupon. I had to use 2 computers to get 4. I got: Eucerin 3@$4.89 1@$5.49
Then used $4/$20 4 $1 MC 1 $4 EB
It came to $9.33 with tax and I got a $10 EB. It's great lotion for the winter so I'm happy with it. They had very few of the small sizes on the shelf.

Ladies - there's a pretty good Lumene deal going on right now. If you like their page on Facebook you can get a $4 PDF coupon . Meaning you can print as many as you want! That pairs nicely with the November monthly: Buy $30, get $10 (limit 5). Plus it counts towards Beauty Club!! The wipes/cleansers are included and should be around $5.99 each. So: 5 facial cleansers = $29.95 - 5 $4 coupons = $9.95 Pay $9.95 + tax, get back $10 EB. Plus you have $29.95 toward the Beauty Club! That's the normal price for the cleansers, so you can stack in % or x/xx coupons to make an even better MM. I plan to use the Lumene to pad my P&G deals this week (since its not tracking, so I have to get a little creative with my tx). I got a $10/50, so here's my plan: 4 Pampers = $35.96 - 4 $2 coupons = $27.96 5 Lumene = $29.95 - 5 $4 coupons = $9.95 - $10/50 coupon = $27.91 subtotal Pay with EBs, get back $10 P&G and $10 Lumene Total "cost" = $7.91 + tax for all items! sam: Can you help me? I liked them on Facebook, but when I tried to print the coupon, it was HUGE and got cut off.

I have been waiting for this new CVS to open that is pretty close to me. So today they finally opened. I went in to do my deals and they were CLUELESS! I understand they are new but I would have thought they would at least have 1 manager or 1 person that was somewhat informed with how coupons worked. They messed up my transactions. They scanned my 20% of coupon and it shows it was accepted but after I left I saw that the receipt showed no sign of the 20% off!! I didn't want to go back in to explain considering it was already a pain. Oh and I have been to 4 different CVS stores around here and all of them charge tax only on the balance, these people were charging on pre-coupon or however... So if my balance was say $4.50 and I gave them a $4 ECB, my balance was still $2 something. Normally it would be even less than $.50 because they only charge tax on the out-of-pocket portion. Also they had no clue what to do with the B1G1 off Herbal Essences coupons since the value of 1 coupon exceeds the value of both products. I checked my receipt and on 2 out of 3 transactions, they are showing the 2nd ones as Free. So I won't be getting beauty club credit for those and I am sure their accounting will be messed up.
Needless to say I think I am going to wait to go back.

It was photo sizes. 4X6, 3X5, 8X10, etc. Is it possible you had yours set large? I set mine at 3X5 and was able to set it to print 5 copies. Maybe I can email you my pdf if you can't get it to work?

DM - what p8nt said. I changed the setting to 3x5 picture, and on my printer I had to uncheck the "fit to (something)" box. Then the coupon printed correctly. "Monthly" deals at CVS have changed so much - they don't run on the calendar months anymore. And its anyone's guess as to what they are & what the limits are unless you can find one of the elusive tags.

I figured it out!! Thanks. You guys are THE BEST!! ETA: I spoke too soon. The coupon I printed still was cut off, but p8nt emailed one to me. I even had to tweak that one, but DH helped me get it printed. Here's hoping that it scans.

Glad you got it!! I'll be heading back to CVS tomorrow to try this and finish my $15 PG MIR up and also my PG spend $30 get $10.
My SO likes to take Nyquil when he gets sick. I can't stomach that stuff, but I'm going to try to use his card and a few Q's to get him some Nyquil for this winter. I happened to hold onto the $3 off a $10 cold & cough Q from the red box. I can't wait until my CVS moves and I'll be able to stop in there much more frequently to scan my card. It's out of the way for me now and I only go if I can put a deal together.

Thank you everyone for your good wishes. I will look for the Aveeno CRT. I only have 4 $1.00 off coupons. I will think about it, LOL. I feel like such a novice. It did feel good to go to CVS today, though.

What happened? I have no clue. You always seemed to get more clearance than anyone else. My store rarely has anything on clearance. They JUST marked down the summer picnic stuff down to 90% and there was nothing left but junk. I think my lack of clearance is due to living in a rural town of over 40K with only ONE CVS.

I got a $5 off Lumene at the bottom of a receipt. Actually, the young lady in front of me didn't have a CVS card so I offered to let her swipe mine. She was buying some Almay and Cover Girl, came out to about $12, which went towards my Beauty total. The cashier gave me the Q's from the bottom of the receipt.

My Sunday CVS trip:
6 Revlon nail clippers: $19.14 1 Gold Emblem chips: $2.00 1 Filipio Berio olive oil: $3.99 2 Neosporin: $10.58 4 2.5 oz Aveeno: $15.16
Total: $50.87 + tax
Minus $10/$50 CRT $1 G.E. chip CRT $3/2 Aveeno q (10/28 SS) 2 $1/$1 Aveeno peelies 2 $2 neosporin IPs $28 EBs
OOP: $1.87 + $2.34 tax = $4.21 Rec'd $38 EBs--so a very good trade!
DH uses the neosporin, I love the Aveeno lotion, we needed the olive oil (can't believe we were out!), the chips are a treat, and I can't believe I have more nail clippers!
Sam814: Thanks for the info on the Lumene deal. They gave me yet again another $10/$50 on the receipt so that will help me piece together another deal!

Hound alert: If any of you got the Neosporin q in the 10/28 SS and can spare them, I would love them. My DH uses it almost daily on his big toe--says it helps with a toenail issue that he refuses to get checked at the doc's. Whatever.....I've learned to pick my battles! PM me and I'll give you my addy. Thanks!

Dancin: Thanks for the Home Depot "Mulch the Zombies" info. I decided to do it late yesterday during the Giants game--nervous energy and all that. By the time they'd won Game 4, I had the q's! $30 of free garden stuff. Woo Hoo! Did you do 1 transaction, take to the car, and then go back in?
You were right, though--it was a long process. DD2 and her BF took some turns, too, so that helped.

You can do (3) separate transactions back to back - or they allowed that at my store. Stacking MCs with the Home Depot Qs is a bit tricky. Some stores - no problem; others refuse to stack. HTH OMG, wasn't that game a nail biter? So good for the Giants. And everyone predicted the Tigers were going to win....shows how much they know!!

Sorry, but that q wasn't in my regional paper and I only got 1 from the Chronicle. But one's better than none, right! ;D Ya, it wasn't in my regional paper either. I was lucky enough that they had (2) unsold Chronicles last night. I was soooo worried that I wasn't going to get ANY coupons last night. That is usually the way when one of SF's teams is doing well, but I guess the owner opened late so a lot of the early newspaper buyers had to go somewhere else for their paper. YEAH for sleeping in!! ;D The owner's son is usually the one that works on Sunday nights. He is a Tide snob, so I'm going to do the P&G deal and give him a bottle of Tide. He has been sooooo good to me. I get to do most of my couponing without having to pay the price of getting the coupons. I don't think it's going to matter much pretty soon going forward. The restrictions are going to get to the point where you will not be able to use more than one of any like coupon in a transaction which will put an end to stockpiling. In the meantime, I'm stockpiling like crazy - even on items that I would not normally feel a need to buy any more of right now (like laundry detergent) just cuz I feel that I won't be able to get it for free by couponing in the very near future. I hate to be a Debbie Downer, but I really think that's where we're headed.

murphath: I just realized that I have (3) to send. I forgot that the son's owner saw the Q as I was flipping through them at the counter (looking for the Eucerin) and he saw it and asked for one. I MIGHT be able to get more Thursday. Do you want me to wait or go ahead and send?

Three is good because I have 1 from the Chronicle. I was able to print 2 IP's from the Neosporin site so I used those yesterday.
Thanks, again.

I might have missed the comment on this but, the Lumene deal does it track? Is it monthly? I'm so confused..... Sorry, just checked my receipt from yesterday when I bought one of the small creams...it is tracking, I have 7.98 so far.

For these coupons, to make sure they will scan at the registers, check them at the coupon machine first The barcode will come up as item not found, but at least you know that the scanner can read it. That way there shouldn't be a problem at the register.

Sorry I have been MIA for 2 weeks but my monitor died and I could do NOTHING. However, today I found a used 15” Dell monitor at a local charity shop CHEAP (under $20). It did not have cords but mine fit and if fired right up w/NO issues or programming needed.
