I just graduated in May with my PhD and my parents like to get me the school frames for the diploma. The problem is that my undergraduate degree and my PhD are not the same size, so the frames are different sizes and that's going to bug me for a LONG time. So right now they're not hung, but I'd be really mad if my father got me the wrong frame!

Simser-while the diplomas may be different sizes, adjusting the widths of the mat board surrounding the diplomas could result in the same sized frames.
Buy the larger of the two school frames for both diplomas then adjust/increase the height and width of the mat board for the smaller diploma. If the school frames come with pre-cut mats, take the frames and the pre-cut mat boards to a frame shop where they can match the color of the school-provided mat board and have them cut the mat board for the smaller diploma to fit the larger frame.
Mat boards come in hundreds of colors.

I have the school seal and name on my undergrad frame and would like that on my grad frame. So I'm trying to do the impossible One day I'll come up with the perfect solution for me!

Sorry, that smacks me. Yes, I wish my DD had gone to the right school but she still went to college and I need to support that. Me getting her a diploma frame from the college I'd have liked her to go to would just be nasty on my part. I certainly know, as do most parents who have had anything to Dow Tim their children while they were in college, what college she went to. There's something else going on here.

She might not be a bitch for asking for graduation present, but she surely is one for calling her father stupid. And ungrateful bitch as well.
I have no idea where my diploma is, it is framed though, but only bc my aunt owns an art gallery and does a lot of professional framing, so she wanted to do it.
If I ever get an office for my consulting business that I want to have, I might hang it on the wall, along with my master's degree diploma. People seem to like that kind of stuff

It's tough to be grateful for a gift so obviously unsuited for her. That would be like giving me a sweater in an XL. What would I do with it and what were you thinking when you gave it to me? It's not like he's nuts, then it's excusable. I have an aunt like that but she's old and crazy so we all laugh about it. It isn't done to be hurtful.

But how tough is it not to be an asshole to your father on FB??
Also, it could have been a mistake, no?
