I agree doing something is better than nothing and that keeps the good habit going.
I can't eat pizza because of the cheese. When I did eat pizza it was like eating nothing as I was hungry an hour later.
I've seen those treadmill desks. Some companies have them and schedule time slots to do co. work and physical work. A good idea as long as it is voluntary.
I hope the cooling pillow works.
That is a lot of liquid. When I used to work and had a bad bad day, I would get home and start drinking water to rinse the day out. It worked better than sodas or alcohol.
It's 10:08 a.m. and I'm supposed to be at the f.c. I have enough days so I can do a DVD. I did pyramids on weights yesterday and didn't feel sore today. Some of the f.c. machines need repair as the side 5 lb. increase is hard to get the peg to slide in. Some of the daily members made the repairs themselves 2 y.a.
There is no spring around here. I need to get out into the fresh air and start walking. Okay I'm wimpy for not walking in the snow.
May the voices that promote your exercise be good ones.

2 - I think Zaire has left this board. He took a lot of "heat" over on the automobile thread. He might be lurking. I have not checked other categories to see if he jumped over.

We don't know why he isn't here these days, Artemis - and you're assuming. His account is still active - he hasn't even been online here since mid-March.

Greetings Artemis! thought I would concentrate on my goal by May 18. but couldn't do it! all these months I've only managed to stay between exactly 252 and 258? when 252 the very next day I'll be 256, then next day 258, then 254, then 257. I quit concentrating every time weight went up then somehow weight went down? LOL craziness I tell ya! screw it what eve! maintain and more maintain. my jeans are difficult to keep over my ass! I need new belts! my stomach has gone down and noticeably size down. embarrassing but I'll tell you. over this weekend GF and I went to the movies. I had popcorn in one hand and soda in the other. GF is in front as we make our way upstairs. 3D I-MAX upstairs!! I feel my jeans are getting lower / falling a bit as we go upstairs! but I feel I can make it to the seat? well nope! jeans fell to the floor. I moved the hand with the soda to try and hold them up but nope! too late. jeans = floor!! Thankfully the theater was not crowded at all, and the previews had started, so it was a bit dark. GF didn't see thankfully cause she would still be laughing 3 days later! I also keep a beard now for a few last weeks I think makes my face appear slimmer? I can stick with this maintaining within this weigh range. maybe one day I'll get motivated again like I was last year? I've thought about joining a local gym for their free 30 membership, loose the weight, quit the gym, then maintain? just a thought

I am glad you posted, Z. How did you keep from spilling the popcorn or the pop when reaching for your britches? I usually have a tankard of coffee that I can easily spill when my hands are over loaded.
One of those woven belts that you can adjust would do the trick. I finally got wise on that.
Something must have smoothed out for you as your post sounds positive.

Hello Artemis!!! Hope your holiday Memorial Day Weekend was fantastic! mine was pretty decent! woven belt would be perfect now that you mention it! then I do not have to be concerned about the size of the belt and bonus as my waist line goes where ever wide / small / increase / decrease I'll have at lease one woven belt. I just took a look at my belts. All of them are designer and leather, 2 are one size fit all (I don't wear often) and 3 others are size 44. I have about 10 all together. most of my pants are size 42. so I have to check on do I go lower to a 38 belt; 40 belt? yea just walking around in my jeans I have to keep pulling them up - they are heavy. so when I was walking up the stairs - I thought I could make it to the seats. so when I felt they were about to fall (Laughing now) they were sliding down a bit too low. I started to move my hand with the soda to catch them. BUt was too late and as they hit the floor! I just kept leaning over and put the soda and Popcorn on the step - pulled them up HIGH (LOL) then reached back for our snacks! it was all very fast. GF had just found a row of seats to sit in just past the half way point in the theater. I didn't say anything and she didn't see! LOL The cooling pillow was a bust! unfortunately the total cost was $70 for this little experiment. and I ended up with a firm pillow that I could have purchased from Target for like....$7, $10? well at least it's comfortable. this is also a perfect topic I would have talked with my x-best friend. Laughing now cause she knew me so well and would have told me NO Zaire don't buy it! this cooling pillow will not be ice cold all night or be cold like sticking my head in the freezer! because from the descriptions of both of them - that's what I thought I was purchasing! oh well silly me

Interesting on the cool pillow. I really thought they would work.
I told DH about your spat with the mods. Seems it's okay if he's back and forth with other peeps but his neck hairs come up when I do it.
I got free bread so I have been eating that instead of 45-calorie bread or none at all. Oh my. The feeling is not good.
