I have a heplful hint for the newbies. When you see deals flying around, sometimes weeks in advance, either: 1. Grab a junk mail envelope and write the store name and date and the deals on the outside, clip any coupons needed and you will be ready to go when the sale starts. 2. I also start a new word doc (or google doc so I can access it from anywhere) copy and paste the info. I try to keep all the deals for the week on the same doc, then I print it out to act as my map for the week..... I find it difficult to remember all the deals and what week they are. This helps me tremendously! Thank the veteran hounds here for the tips, just thought it was mentioning again! , I do the same except that mine is in Excel and I have a column to list where I need to get the Qs from. That way, I have most of my scenarios worked out with the tax and Ups and SCR added in to see which would work better for me. I also start an envie for the week and try to gather my Qs in advance if it's going to be a big week and then cross them off or highlight them in green on my sheet as I am done. |

saveinla I saw the Aveeno shampoo at 50% off in RA yesterday, you could check out the lotion. Fingers crossed. I saw alot of 50% stickers around the store. I am at $68 now towards the $100 in RA. I am going in for the Ritz crackers deal today and will check for clearance stuff. I didn't know it was a $1000 spend to get to 20%. That's prolly out of my range but if i hit it in Nov would it count for 12 months from Nov? Freemen welcome! Your first deal was good, I bet you are excited about saving money. I am aiming for my second $20 free UP reward. January's one is long gone.lol Thanks a lot hopetoberich. I will check them out. I also have the 1.50 MQ for the shampoo and have to see what I can do. The MQs that you use count towards your 1000 points. So every time you use your MQ, keep a running tally and make sure it matches with what you see on Riteaid.com under your wellness account. It takes a couple of days to update the points. My goal was to do 100 points per month (mostly using MQs), since I normally take a couple of months off any hounding. |

Coke Rewards Question: Did anyone that got in on the Free 12 pack coupon for 30 points back in December get their coupons yet? I received an e-mail WEEKS ago saying that they shipped but I have not received them. I called CS and she could not give me a ship date, nor is it available online.....she said they could credit me back my points but could not re-send the coupons.  I really wanted those coupons!! I recvd mine last week! |

Went to 2 RA's at lunch. One was totally out of all of the Betty Crocker items, the other had 2 cookie mixes and 4 cake mixes...both store's told me that the "coupon ladies" come in on Sunday and clear them out  . I wish I had planned my transaction better. I was only about $9 away from my Winter Reward and ended up doing a big transaction and used almost all of my small denomination UPs. I should've split the transaction and used the $20 Up on my next transaction. Oh well...live and learn. That's what I get for trying to do a deal on the fly and when I'm not feeling well. My cashier put the Bioron Q's in without any problem, at least, so, I was able to convert quite a few UPs to SCR's. Now I've just gotta figure out how I'm gonn use a $20 UP AND my $20 GOS! |

ha ha ha Great minds think alike. As you and all the other gals know, I have a SEVERE case of CRS which I am convinced is incurable  , so using that method is a lifesaver for me. I just hate waiting until the last minute to put together all of my deals. I usually check my list against what frugalsuz puts on her blog just to make sure that I didn't miss anything -- thanks frugalsuz!! |

I just got an email from Rite Aid alerting me that I can save $150 this month with Video Values. Geez RA, that's a real news flash. I guess they can't tell that I've already watched a ton of videos and have already used a bunch of the VV Qs.  |

dancinmama: I'm confused re your post re Oscillococcinum stuff at RA. It may not be listed as an SCR item in the local weekly circular, but it is certainly in the SCR circular (back cover) that they have in the stores. You have to buy the items this week to get the SCR's. Were you trying to say they weren't on sale at our RA's? Because if the SCR is in the national circular that they put in our stores, we'll get the SCR, too.

Someone a couple of pages back asked if there was a Finish detergent sale. RA is still $3.99 and I used my $1.00 MQ.
Also, I thought my RA was out of the Betty Crocker deal, but ended up finding more stashed on an isle end cap.

HOUND ALERT: If anyone has any of the $1/1 Buitoni Pasta or sauce from the 1/2/11 Smart Source that they won't be using, I would LOVE to have them. DH and I eat this pasta about once a week, and these Q's really come in handy.

Remember all those P&G receipts that we gathered together so that we could fill out that form and send it in to get the $110 coupon booklet?
Apparently, P&G has an abundance of them and is now giving them away on Facebook. I was able to score two more. It will be interesting to see if they recognize my address from the one I mailed in for and send me another.
I'm warning you though, that they are a PITA to get through Facebook. Some people have been on there for hours and have still not been able to get it.
I googled Proctor & Gamble on Facebook and FINALLY got mine.
