I also don't agree with the abortion question. I am unclear as to what Romney really believes.

I also don't agree with the abortion question. I am unclear as to what Romney really believes. What's in his heart and what passes his lips are often quite different. Frequently happens with all presidential candidates.

I also don't agree with the abortion question. I am unclear as to what Romney really believes. it also depends heavily on whether you want to know what he believes now, or what he believed when he ran for Senate on a pro-choice platform. this is one of the more widely-covered flip-flops he has made.

If you are going by what he used to say... then maybe, but if you are going by what he's said recently... then the question and answer were correct...
... ie. What Tenn said.. and chiver

11 out of 11.

When did Obama swap out Hillary with Joe for VP? She must be mad.

I missed one... and I don't pay attention to the political stuff - I don't have TV, no newspaper subscription, and barely pay attention to the news on the internet. I thought I was cut off from civilization (no TV) but I guess not.

I had to think twice about who was Chief Justice. All those old white guys look the same. that's the one I got wrong. somehow I forgot that Rehnquist died. That is the one I missed as well. Most of the quiz was very easy though. It kind of makes me sad that only 85% could correctly identify Biden as VP. It also makes me sad that for the most part women do far worse on these questions.

All questions right. I was expecting something harder. I'm not even a avid political reader.
Hmmm, kind of ineresting the democrats were the least informed voters behind independents and republicans.

I always thought it would be interesting if in order to vote you had to take a simple civics test to make sure you know a thing or two about government. Maybe simple questions like "how many senetors are from reach state" and "what are the two branches of congress."
Of course, i'm sure democrats would call that discriminatory to actually restrict voting to people who knew basic things......

11 out of 11 correct. I expected the questions to be a little trickier too. And they were, if you had followed some of the political positions 4+ years ago, against their stance today. Obama included, look up his position on marriage in 2008.

Not discriminatory, just unconstitutional I'm disappointed in the number who couldn't identify the Chief Justice. The CJ's role is just as important as POTUS or Senate Majority leader/House speaker - separate but coequal branches of the government. And Roberts has been CJ since 2005, not like he was just appointed.

11 of 11. I'm pretty depressed about the state of the voting populace if this quiz is representative...

It is us. No matter what we think of each other's opinions, we do not have an average group here. I believe that overall we are more educated and more informed than the general population. I got all of them right too but I credit that not so much to wanting to be informed but on my ability to retain information I've read or heard. And in reading this board or listening to the TV, I get to hear/read differing opinions with some facts thrown in.

I just forgot that Rehnquist had died. ontrack, absolutely!

I knew the Chief Justice question, but I couldn't name all 9 Justices off the top of my head, maybe 3 or 4. I we should get midwest JD and/or Swamp appointed to the SC. Then we should influence the rulings .

I answered 7 correctly, missing #5, #8, #9, and #11.
