The cheap variety Really though, it depends on several things, particularly where I decide to move. Florida I can pick up a house cheap, on the east coast where family is it's going to cost more.

ing ladder, if you are not comfortable in the market and think rates are going up. (can they go down?)
did everyone hear ing usa is being bought by cap one? i hope cap one takes ing's culture and not the other way around.

Yeah, I have an ING account and don't like the fact that the Dutch government made them divest the US assets, nor that Capital One is buying them. Capital One seems to be a fairly sleazy operation from what I can tell. They do have some kind of funny commercials though -- got to give them that. Reckon I'll just wait and see. I have only a savings account with ING and it's linked to two other banks, so I can take the money out in a flash.
