I don't know the total count, but I can say that my state contributed the most decorated American gymnast in London - Aly Raisman ETA: hmm......according to that link, she's the only one. I dunno about that, according to my local news station, there's at least 2 or 3 more.

We've got a gold (Lauren Chaney in soccer) and a bronze (David Boudia in diving) from Indiana. Should have had another medal yesterday if Morgan Uceny hadn't been tripped in her 1500 race.
