I would do it. I am a 'homemaker' with plenty of time. I don't post all that much (at least I haven't been) I think I can be impartial, neutral, and I read a lot! I mean a LOT! Oh, and I can take lots of criticism.

I like you, Rick! I like most folks here, from what I can read of them. We can all get cranky, and we can all be snarky, at times. Still, for the most part we've got a fine kettle of folks. ;D

Oh, my! Thanks, you guys! I really appreciate it. I'm a communicator by nature, and enjoy the opportunity to share, to explain where it's wanted, and to learn from what others perceive. I learned quite a bit and I hope others did, as well. When we learn something, even the bitter things are easier to take. As for you, Rick ... you couldn't pay us enough to do this job! That's why we do it for free! ;D

I like you too, mmhmm... We have had our differences in the past...(far past!) however, I do like and respect you! ;D Thanks, hon. I think any disagreement on the internet has to be taken pretty lightly, all in all. Because we have so little to go on, it's easy to misunderstand, or to take offense. We can't go by body language, and we don't really know the people with whom we're communicating. All we have is words on a screen, and that's not the same as a real, live human being standing in front of us. The important thing, as I see it, is to realize there really is a person behind that screen, and that person has a heart, and a soul, and feelings, and all that other squishy stuff. To me, it matters.

LOL Rae! I don't think they want me Thanks all for the support, though. It's been a rough couple of weeks and I needed it.

Virgil, I like your virtual tomato. I guess you didn't enjoy your roasting on the other thread. SL, why Rodney? I thought you were smart and stayed away until weighing in with only one post. Finally, Sugi I'd love you to explain your new entry under your avatar, the "too fast to be human part". PM me if you prefer. I should probably go do something useful. I let myself get drug into the drama instead of forcing myself to apply to a job I want that could grow into FT. Not sure how to sell myself AND the fish are splashing up a storm and really not eating the last few days. Not happy about that either.

I've been a mod at two other much smaller sites with not near the activity this one has. It's a thankless job.
You couldn't get me to do it at a site this large.

I think we should elect Taxi for Mod. Seriously. That way he would have to read everyone's posts and be responsible for making sure no one gets out of line. This way he wouldn't have time to start so much trouble.
