About $2,440.00 even after all the deductions we are allowed. It's going in my IRA at a guaranteed lowest rate of 4.50%. I love USAA!!

I did pretty well this year in trying to have just enough taken out to cover my taxes:
I owe the state $2.00 (woo-hoo!!)
And I, technically, owe the Feds $60.00 - but I forgot to take into account the Making Work Pay credit into my calculations so I am actually getting back about $340

I'm getting $2800 back. I didn't plan it that way, but the American Opportunity Credit is giving me back every cent I spent on tuition for my last class. Sweet! Me too! I started back to school last year, for a 2nd bachelor's. I should probably put it toward my original student loan, but will probably add it to my EF instead.

I dropped all my info off with my tax lady last Thursday, still waiting for the bad news. We can no longer claim DS as a dependent, so I'm positive we will be paying in, just don't know how much

I almost got excited last Friday. I finally talked to someone who knows what a W-2 is and they told me it was mailed out. Then they hung up and I still don't know if she meant like in January like they were supposed to or last week. DH's student loans I found out I can download a PDF with the 1099 so all I need is the stupid W-2 and I can get my money back.

I'm getting $131 from the federal government and I owe the state $1. I will miss that dollar.

NY State finally updated the refund status online, I should have my $63 by March 2nd. I was kind of worried because Gov. Cuomo has stated that we are functionally bankrupt.

I usually nail my return around $100 but am getting back $529 because of Making Work Pay. I may put it into my HSA or IRA or put it ito my New Carpet Fund.

Getting back $300 from the Fed, sending $100 to the state. I did a good job estimating last year and threw a bunch into the 401K in December when I realized DH's overtime was crossing us into the next tax bracket.

We had a complicated tax year (at least, compared to most non-business owners) so I really wasnt sure if my withholdings were correct.
We did our taxes on Saturday and we owe $5

I think the wife said we got back right around $2,700. I wasn't really paying that much attention to be honest.

We're getting back about $5K federal, $1K state. I still have to double check things - I've just dropped numbers into TurboTax. But I still have three K-1's from publicly traded partnerships to receive. I can't file until I have them, and one isn't scheduled to be released until 4/1. They'll only have minimal effect on our refunds.

I haven't done ours yet, but we did have a kid in 2010, so that should be good for something. May be it's stupid, but I am too nervous to change our withholdings. It seems that every year there are some changes going on and since we are considered "middle class" I am too nervous that our taxes will be going up, up, up. So, as much as I hate it, I think we are getting a refund. Lena
