Cawaiu, if you come to Cincinnati, you'd better take me out to lunch! My family lives about an hour away from there.

Aw, Mid, we will be a little too far north to see you. We will be in Dayton and Columbus. Oh, and I happen to like Cleveland. I go the to West Side Market every time I visit. And Zubal Books.

Finger lakes winery tour. Already doing that with another couple in two weeks. She is from that area and invited us to tag along and we said yes. ETA: is it fun? I am not a wine person but my wife is so that is why my friend and his fiancee invited us. I am more hard liquor and beer There are some breweries and a distillery on the east side of Seneca Lake www.fingerlakesdistilling.com/The best time to go is in the fall.....

Carl, maybe not for your anniversary, but enjoy a relaxing and romantic night in Cooperstown with your wife sometime. I highly recommend room 2 at the Landmark Inn. Two person jacuzzi tub, an 11-head shower, privacy. That's where df proposed!
Also, the Cooperstown Blues Express was so much fun! Have you done Ommegang yet?

What about a cruise on a Maine windjammer? Scenery is great, accommodations are reasonably luxurious, food is fantastic, and you can help sail or just veg on deck.

This may be Off Topic, but it is still YM. Good grief man, put all the money in savings and spend your time watching the grass grow for free! A vacation is no excuse to spend money! ...granted, I would've said go to Ohio... Canton and Cleveland, respectively... Pro Football Hallf of Fame (lots of bling for her in the SB rings' case) and then the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum... ;D

Philadelphia, PA it is. My wife always wanted to go (I've been since my older brother and cousin lives there) and I have been promising to take her for awhile.
So going there from te 22nd till the 26th, we will stay downtown PA in the historical district / Comfort Inn.
Any good ideas on what to do there?

...preseason game? ...and dude, there is a ton of historical stuff... rent "Philadelphia", "Rocky", or the 1st "National Treasure" movie and see if anything jumps out at you to then see IRL... ...edited to add that the obvious to me movie "Invincible" didn't have as much scenery as the afore-mentioned flicks...
