In an effort to get back in the shallow end of the pool....Come on, people, I am working OT here. I expect to be paid 1.5X my regular salary for .5 times as much labor.
Who is your favorite real housewife of wherever? I love many ladies from many cities, but tonight I love Sonja most of all.
To keep this somewhat money related, Sonja did marry a Morgan (who descends from JP Morgan AND John Adams so there) and went into some form of bankruptcy.
To those of you who want to hate on people who watch the housewives, suck a lime!
Full disclosure: I am a little loopy because I am a gold digger, but I suck at that as well as life because I worked until 10 p.m. and then had two drinks and then decided to go post on a money forum about the real housewives.
What about you? Who is your favorite housewife? What financial lessons does she teach by vice or virtue?

Say what you want about the shows, and her husband's screw-ups, and all of the manufactured drama, but strictly from a financial point of view, Theresa gets my full respect. She is doing what she needs to do to take care of her family -- cook books, the Apprentice, etc. She knows how to squeeze every drop from any opportunity.
I think her older daughter is going to need years and years of therapy, though, so Theresa needs to keep milking the Housewives cow.
JMHO. YMMV.

My DD worked with Sonja on one of the episodes of RHONY. She said that Sonja was very polite and professional, very nice to work with.

I don't watch it enough to know their names or which city they are in. My fave would have to be the wife who got pissed at another wife and flipped a table while eating out! LOL It was epic. The looks on everyone's face. Priceless. I think it had something to do with a book and someone being a hooker or something. I don't know. But whoever she is......she is FUNNY.

Theresa! Really? Two votes for Theresa?! She only withdrew from bankruptcy to avoid criminal bankruptcy fraud charges. She does have some hussle, but it doesn't really matter how much money she makes since she is 11 million in the hole. Although, I guess Bethany managed to leverage her housewives opportunity and create/sell her brand for 100 million. Maybe there is financial hope for Theresa after all. Thank you, Mid for bringing some sanity to this conversation with Lisa Vanderpump and Giggy. Thank you Sku for agreeing with me. I like it when you do that.

I used to like Vicki until she glammed on to her new boyfriend, who is a freak, and got plastic surgery. She used to seem to be all together as a person and now seems to have completely become unglued.
She needs medication, IMHO.
Watching her relationship on this season is like watching Hoarders; you know something is just fundamentally wrong on a mental health level rather than it being entertaining to watch.

Really? You don't know even one stay at home mom? Weird.
I know a couple that never even had kids. Talk about a sweet gig. Wish I had the right plumbing for that one.

I watched it once or twice and I liked Camille Grammer (BH). Quiet, reserved. No wonder they got rid of her. Not exciting enough.

However, people always wonder how smart women/men get involved with men/women who take advantage of them. Seeing it happen has been really thought provoking (I am watching this show to grow as a person and have my thoughts provoked dontchaknow) Frapaccino, another vote for Theresa! Really? You people are killing me. Concerning Camille....The first season she was on, she got involved in all sorts of drama. Last season, she stayed out of the fray. She is a smart lady. Also, 50M divorce. So there is a lesson about pre-nups for sure. If you marry Kelsey Grammar, don't get one!

As someone I could see as a possible friend: Caroline from NJ (this was several seasons ago though). As pure entertainment? The OC ones.

What about Kandi from Atlanta? Smart business lady, super successful before the show, single mom, nice personality.
