Yes, Archie. because you continually insist on making posts that you know full well will lead people into the temptation of posting inappropriately. Um, we're big boys and girls. maybe you can explain why we keep having this same discussion then?

Moonbeam, It does appear that Looney is getting blamed for Archie's actions. And I am getting blamed for other people's posts that didn't even get posted..... It's funny cause it's true!

Also sounds impossible. Because some people feel that "freedom of speech" is literal? In an ideal and perfect world, it is. Proboards is neither, and it isn't ours. Well, it is, within certain parameters. We know what those are, we know where the CoC is posted, and we've all (mostly) read the warnings. As a current freelance writer, and former newspaper employee, I'm a huge proponent of free speech and thought and expression. But I've never been foolish enough to think that: 1) restrictions of some kind don't apply 2) participants have a choice: live with them or go elsewhere Cry and moan if you wish about not being treated as an adult. Push the envelope if you're really that dim. No one (should have) made the decision to post here without the understanding that saying whateverthecrap you want is possible. Call me out for posting the above if it makes you feel like a big ass baddie. Won't bother me a bit. Likely, I've been called worse than whatever you can think of.

Um, we're big boys and girls. maybe you can explain why we keep having this same discussion then? On second thought, I will answer. We have this discussion because you are willing to have it. Stop having it. Give one warning and then ban for a week. The message will get through and you don't have to waste your time arguing with people.

We can only talk about underpants in a nonsexual way. Like laundry. Or shopping.
Speaking of underwear shopping, I saw a package of 3 thongs in size XXXL at Old Navy. I can't imagine that would be attractive.

they should not make everything in all sizes. Thongs, mini skirts, and skinny jeans should not go up to size 16. They just shouldn't.

Unfortunately, the effectiveness of that usually depends on how mature the children are, not on how well-intentioned the parents are.... ;D

As someone who wears a 14, I can attest that I have no business wearing skinny jeans, short shorts, or a mini skirt.

Can you even see what needs to be waxed if you have 54" hips?

For a second there, I was going to ask, "54 of what? Then I noticed the quote (inch) marks. Not that that's a good thing.

Thongs, mini skirts, and skinny jeans should not go up to size 16. They just shouldn't. Or at least they should be renamed. Skinny jeans in a size 16 just sounds dumb. It would be like calling something petite that gets sold in big and tall stores. If you're fat, they aren't skinny jeans. They're form fitting fat jeans. Or just form fitting jeans. Same thing with a thong. I realize it's named based on the cut, but if it takes a full yard of fabric to make one that will fit you, it's not a thong.

Yep. I can attest to that. At the concert I went to on Saturday, there was a 50's appearing woman (I suck at guessing age so could be a bit higher or lower). She had on a terrycloth tube top and was up dancing quite enthusiastically. She was having a blast and it made me smile. Except for when I got worried that the terrycloth wouldn't hold up under the pressure.

I'd include the tube top's first cousin, the halter top, in with happyhoix's recommendation. If there's more of you outside than inside, you need to rethink that wardrobe choice.

What is even the point of a tube top? Who is it supposed to flatter? I don't think it looks good on anyone. And I HATE halter tops. Feels like being slowly and inefficiently choked from behind. Thanks, boobs.
