Thyme and zib~ I should have put a smiley on there. You ladies both have strong opinions, but nothing that approaches the batshit-craziness that is MIL.

Thanks a lot Thyme, now I have that song stuck in my head. Am I the only one that hears that song and thinks "Ick". I really don't want to be DH's "teenage dream".

"California Girls, we're unforgettable...." My daughters hate it when I sing along to that song in the car.

Trying to make them hate Katy Perry huh? Good move Dark, have you made sure to tell them how cool you think she is?

have you made sure to tell them how cool you think she is? They're still a little young yet so occasionally still listen to me. I have to wait until the tween drama thing is really firmly established before I can start using that play.

Otherwise you'll be listening to boy bands for the next few years.

Well, he became XH a couple of years ago for several reasons but I'll say something nice anyway: he has always been a very good dad to our sons

He's a great dad (so far), works hard because it's for us, is super-smart, and cracks me up. He puts up with me and seems to love me anyway. He's working on the snoring thing. ;D

I had one and it sucked big time, believe me. My cousin had two of them and her husband wanted to leave her until she said he had to take the girls with him! He stayed. Misery does love company.

I don't know if it just happened to coincide with Loop's or if cycles can sync up before one party even has a cycle. Either way, my one crappy week a month just got twice as bad.

Maybe we should start a new pool...... instead of when will Loop kill Dark maybe it'll be when will Dark's head explode from the overload of PMS.

...:::"I want to stab my eardrum out every time that stupid song comes on the radio.":::...
Katy Perry, though overplayed, is at least peppy. My "stab my eardrum" music is anything from Adele. I can see why her sound is so popular. She has a very unique voice that carries a somber timbre to it. It is ideal in that one where she is only singing along to a piano.
But GHAAAA.....

Maybe we should start a new pool...... instead of when will Loop kill Dark maybe it'll be when will Dark's head explode from the overload of PMS. That'll depend I think. I figure when the younger one starts her cycle one of two things will happen. They'll either all spend the week driving me bat shit crazy, I'll take up heavy drinking, and die in my late forties from liver failure. Or, they'll all spend the week sniping at each other, driving each other bat shit crazy, I'll take up heavy drinking, and die of liver failure in my late forties. So, I figure I have a year or two to find a job that requires about 25% travel time. I need something that has a pretty consistent one week a month at a client site far far away.

Better start brewing faster, you're gonna need quite the stockpile.

He's hardworking, funny, honest, great with the kids, supportive of my career and me, handy around the house, and sees the magic in everyday things, which he always shares with the kids. wouldn't that be odd if after ALL you just bragged about someone called you and told you they saw your husband with another...man...checking into hotel room??? Wait...'sees the magic in everyday things'...I am glad I had not had any liquid in my mouth...my monitor would be ruined!!!

He always puts everyone else first, that is good and bad. He is considerate, loving, affectionate, funny, and smart. Very considerate in bed as well. He is considering sex??? How often???
