Barkeepers Friend. That stuff is awesome. Yeah, you have to scrub a bit but it really takes out all kinds of stains.
I like it too! Greased Lightning is another good one! "Awesome" cleaner from the dollar store is good for a lot of jobs! "Wink" is OUTSTANDING for getting out rust stains on EVERYTHING, including CLOTHES!

When you're done, can you run by mine and finish what me and DD2 can't seem to get done? Except what I can't get done... Lol, you all shouldn't expect much from my cleaning skills. The fact that I am on here asking what kind of cleaners to use should tell you what my house looks like right now.

My diagnosis of MCS (multiple chemical sensitivities) forced me to stop using commercial cleaners. I learned (reluctantly at first) to make my own.
My two favorite books are "Clean House Clean Planet" by Karen Logan and "Organic Housekeeping" by Ellen Sandbeck. Now that I'm settled with all the supplies and into a regular mode of mixing up cleaners, I spend pennies (literally!) on cleaning supplies. In the past I'd drop $30-40 dollars a shot at the grocery store - so now my "grocery" bill has dropped dramatically. I make my own all-purpose spray, soft scrub, toilet bowl cleaner, glass cleaner, furniture polish, etc. I know doing this is not for everyone, but if you're interested, check out the books and the You Tube videos. It started out as a "medical" thing for me but has become a real money saver. Good luck!

I use dish soap, hot water and a few drops of orange oil for our hardwood and tile, it works great and helps to keep spiders away too ;D Have a bottle of vinigar and water for mirrors, windows, faucets and counters. Bleach when needed and I love my clorox wipes. Baking soda also, good stuff!
ETA: I forgot, dish soap in the bathtub! Cuts oil residue great! We have a acrylic tub and can't use harsh chemicals on it.

Scrubbing Bubbles or Lysol product for the bathrooms, non ammonia Windex for all other smooth surfaces, Murphy s oil soap for the wood work, Armstrong floor cleaner for the vinyl floors, Soft Scrub or Mr. clean Magic eraser for anything that won't cooperate. As long as we are on the subject what do you use for black kitchen appliances? They always appear dull after cleaning the top of my stove is black and I use rubbing alcohol, just pour some into a cheap spray bottle, makes it shiny and streak-free.

Fantastik, Comet, or Clorox Bathroom cleaner (be careful w/ the Clorox - those fumes are powerful) for sinks/toilets/showers/floors, and vinegar for mirrors. Sometimes I will clean with Dr. Bronner's castile soap in peppermint and just a touch of bleach when stuff is not so grimy and I want a nice after-smell. Jenny called it. It's Clorox Bleach Foamer for Bathrooms.

I second "Clean House Clean Planet." I make 90% of our cleaners.
I also heard that Murphy's Oil Soap is bad for hardwood floors. I've used Bona for two years now I like it.

The best cleaning tools are from Flylady.net. I love the purple microfiber rags and Rubbs Scrubba brush. The purple rags clean with just water -- no chemicals needed.
