Same here, DS was born when I was 21 and DH was 20. Now we are in our mid 40's and enjoying every minute of it. DS is trhough college and has a good job and is on his own so we can concentrate on other things. On the other hand, BIL (DH's bro) and his wife has a soon to be four year old and he's nearly 50.

We get some people who come this way in spits and spurts that call themselves "travelers". I don't know if they are Irish or Romanian. All I know is that it normally spells trouble.

The people that come here normally are youngish men pretending to be contractors. If someone believes them and gives them money to replace their roof say they will hang aroun just long enough for the check to clear and then they are gone. If taking the kids to the mall and shoplifting count then some women do have jobs.

Maybe the people that come here every few years are different than the ones on the show. All I can say is I hope so!

DS will graduate from High School when I am 40 and DH is 43. I have a lot of friends from high school just having kids now. There are times I wish I had waited a little longer but for the most part I am glad we had him when we did. Quite a few of his classmates have parents that are a good 15 to 20 years older than us.
