As long as you're not carrying a real Coach purse, texting on an iPhone with perfectly manicured fingers and getting into an Escalade, I think you're ok by YM standards. No one is ok by YM standards.

DH made spaghetti sauce yesterday, so I didnt' want to offend him by having crab legs instead of the spaghetti he spent all day making.

I am on welfare and I buy the generic "fake" crab and make it into a salad. I buy that too. It is great with a little celery, onion, mayo (and my secret added ingredient - a few drops of Tobasco). When it was on sale at Safeway for $1.50 (12 oz) I bought several and put them in the freezer. Take it out, defrost, and as it's as good as fresh.

Those aren't called mommy vans; they're grocery getters. And anyway, there's a law against buying crab legs if you don't have all the correct accoutrements (Coach bag, Escalade, acrylic nails, food stamps or EBT card and at least three dirty kids in tow). You're a lawyer and you don't know this stuff? What time's dinner? And what are we having for sides?

A little off topic: We went to the local Acura dealer last week to take a look at the new 2013 RDX. Tried to make a deal, and I told the sales manager it wasn't good enough as my nick name is "Queen of Cheap". As we were walking out the door he looked at my RED Coach Poppy handbag and had the nerve to ask me what I had paid for it. I replied " $198". He simply said "that's what I thought". Whatever the hell he meant did not go unnoticed.....we went to the Mercedes Benz dealer.....
I now have a new 2012 Mercedes GLK350.

Iève seen buckets of live crabs at the Asian markets for cheap, but they look like they have very litle meat on them. What would one do with them?

Weltz, depends on the type of crab. The buckets you've seen at the Asian markets may even be soft shell crabs. With soft shell crabs, you cook and eat the entire thing.

Yep. I know it sounds awful, but they're really good (the soft shelled ones anyway, don't know what you're seeing in the buckets.)

Mmmm, crab legs and spaghetti! Two of my favorites!! And I did not know you could throw frozen crab legs on a grill. I will need to try that. Meh. I'm too lazy. I just have Publix steam them for me in Bay seasoning. Weltz - I don't think those in the picture are softshelled crabs, but they look like Blue crabs. And they are more work but the meat is very sweet!

My favorite place to go for brunch starts with all the Dungeness crab you can eat (and bottomless Mimosas). Too bad it's a 2 hour drive away.

The clusters and the legs actually have meat, but it's a lot of work (but worth it). I prefer Snow Crab legs. You just snap those suckers and get huge chunks. Blue Crabs just have tiny versions of the same.
