I'm going to play this week atop AAPL, Apple Inc. The company has been beat down in stock price and will announce earnings on the 24th. I'm expecting a substantial increase in share price when earnings are announced.

Being a holder of YONG for some years, will just go long with it again. China small caps still out of favor. Being stubborn, so will continue to ride YONG for a surprise bounce... surely the Chinese farmers are buying the fertilizer products for this season. Just as long as we do not get an early gap out of the gate, may hold fairly well this week.  So..... YONG (long) |

Ixia (XXIA) is a provider of netowrk and application performance testing solutions, internationally. It came to my attention due to a good earnings report, an upgrade and a volume spike. Even though it's in southern California, it has been in business for more than 10 years and is profitable. All of these things lead me to think that this will go up next week. their 52 week high is $17.18 so, we'll see!

Put me in for CAT long. Caterpillar reports this week also. Many feel that it might not be as good as they would like because of China, I'm thinking that Domestic might trump china.

Closed Friday at $47.18. & a very nice bump (leaving a gap). Volume was much higher than normal.
(1.1 million approx.) 52 week high also on Friday. They had a 3:2 stock split last November. It's an old company (founded in 1874). Business: Water technology. Manufacturers of water heaters & boilers. 2011 Sales growth, 14.9%. Headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and has 10,600
employees.
Point & Figure chart looks good. A trade at $48 would be a major "break-out"

Long STX (Seagate Technology - Data Storage Devices)
Earnings for Seagate have already been released. They pay a 3.42% dividend and have a PE of 6.71 with a forward PE of 3.12. It's rally from the Oct 2011 low had slowed in Feb. but it looks ready to resume the rally. I would like to see the DE lower than .78 but they have $4.56 cash per share.

Man... I can already hear Cramer ranting. CAT exceeded expectations, raised forcast, and goes down?!?!?!!? But then, i saw it at $102 today so maybe there is still hope. I seem to be good at picking losers, maybe i should start shorting.
