They also don't know how to measure properly. Every time I went in they kept telling me I was a 34 B. I finally got measured by a woman who has been a seamtress for over 30 years, I am a 34A! I think part of it is they don't really train people and the second part is VS don't carry A bands in their store. If they wanted to make a sale they had to get me to buy a bra size they carried. They also have some rude sales people. I got a VS gift card for a shower gift. I went looking to spend it. I was quite a bit bigger than I am now, probably a size 16, but still able to fit in their XL's. The sales lady looked at me and said "we don't have anything to fit YOU here." Bitch.

I interviewed with them once for a seasonal job (God knows what possesed me to do so. lol), I've never seen a dumber bunch of women in my life. The last one I went on she decided to group interview us and the one lady she knew from another store. She spent the next 30 minutes ignoring everyone talking solely to her. I felt bad for the other chicks because it was pretty clear that woman was getting the job and they weren't getting it. I should have left right then and there but I was absolutely fascinated by the level of unprofessionalism I was seeing.

Has it been that long since I posted?! Wow. Where has the year gone. I did find some bras at jcp. Will need to find some that are better made or something because they are already ill fitting. I still think it sucks being a female. Or maybe I should just be mad that I took after my father's mother in this area. I guess it's time for me to stop being so damn cheap and just go for some on line. Sigh. I hate spending money.

What brand did you get? I really like the brand Warner's. They are holding up really well and aren't terribly expensive.

Coolname- 2 things about bras- certain brands HATE the dryer- I don't know why- but when I find that quality in a bra- I switch brands- I don't buy dry clean only or anything else that can't go from washer to dryer without hassle. The other- if you have lost any weight since you bought those bras- they will not fit the same.
DM picked up some new bras for me on a freebie deal- they fit great and 2 weeks later I had lost 5 pounds and boom- they are gapping
I want a reduction.

I've heard that Fredricks of Hollywood has stuff for the larger sizes, but my problems with bras are just the opposite of yours. Have any of you more well endowed ladies had any luck there?

The last time I checked Freddie's web site, they did not appear to be carrying the wide range of sizes they used to carry. But depending on what you need- they may have something to fit you. And I generally have better luck going into stores- my best luck is Lane Bryant.

VS sales folks are trained on how to measure but very few actually stay with the store long enough to get enough experience with the multitudes of boob shapes and sizes that come into the store. And, VS does carry A cups and bands ranging from 32 to 38 in stores. Will you find a 38A? No. But you will find 32-36A.

Those of you who need a larger cup size might try Fantasie, or Freya. You'll have to get them online, but I've bought Fantasie for years and they machine wash and machine dry beautifully and last really well.
