I think you're right, but I'm not a bond trader. I'm a Note buyer and holder. Just not a very happy one these days. Things will change. They always do.

Benchmark 10-year German bond yields hit a record low of 1.396 percent and two-year yields also fell to their lowest-ever level at just 0.028 percent.

Now you make 10% selling bonds and buying stocks when everyone says sells stocks. The bonus is these can be long term div players, so you can get some div on this system as well.... If you're trader, that is a sweet $$ trading system with lowered risk, JMO

Bruce - seriously considering selling all the 10 years' we've been buying for the past 18 months and buying a rental house for cash. Or putting 50% down on a couple and financing the rest. These yields on the 10 year are nucking futs!

Drftr - Don't know your area but if you do buy a rental property look for the "worse house in the best neighborhood" Also if you can find a place that can be divided into two or more rentals then it will help protect you from deadbeat tenants or vacancies. Just a thought.

Who Me.. After all these comments on Bonds and the real meaning of bonds???
10-Year Bond 1.464 -0.117 -7.40%
SORRY but I never saw these low of interest on Expert System or MMXIIIGOLD.. Remember.. The market is never wrong but I love IBM and HD at theses prices more then bonds...
HELL.. At these Prices I love Pizza more.. BUT IT IS THE NONE-POSITIVE CORRELATION BETWEEN BONDS AND STOCKS I HAVE TALKED ABOUT..THIS PARRING IS THE MOST SIMPLE FINANCIAL SYSTEM TO REDUCE RISK. WE HAVE POSTED LONG POST ON REDUCTION FOR RETIREMENT ACCOUNT.. RISK IS A FOUR LETTER WORD.. AS BEFORE WE ARE SEEING THE HEAD OF THE BLACK SWAN..I AM SORRY TO SAY!! EU IS UNDERWATER AND SO IS MOST OF THE SWAN....
THE NEXT GENERATION MMXIV HAS POSTED A 74% OPPORTUNITY OF THE FUTURE BACK SWAN EVENTS..SOON WE CAN SEE THE WHOLE SWAN FLYING WITH FRIENDS IN FORMATION OF THE DEATH CROSS!!!
Just a thought, BiMetalAuPt

YEP!! Just like Pizza we had today! ;D MMXIII missed it me thinks because gold is a wacky bubble. Flow says June bottom... Bonds go lower.. Stocks are better now for sure adding some SU to my kids port soon. You never lose money if you sell to soon... 25% is better though I hear ya.. Flow says QE.. I say Tibetans are on fire and the people are fed up. Good thing there is TRILLIONS in the bank and TRILLIONS in AAA USA bonds to help ease the biggest transition of 2012, and no I'm not talking about Obama's possible exit....
