Still mourning the shooting spree that claimed a 9-year-old girl’s life, Arizona is bracing for the trial of another accused child-killer: a female Minuteman. Early on the morning of May 30, 2009, Raul Flores heard a knock at the door of his Arivaca, Arizona, home. When he opened it, he found a man and a woman claiming to be law-enforcement officers in search of fugitives. Minutes later, the man shot Flores to death. Then, authorities say, he pumped three bullets into Flores’ wife, Gina Gonzalez, who survived but played dead. “Why did you shoot my mom?” Gonzalez’s 9-year-old daughter, Brisenia Flores, asked the gunman, according to prosecutors. Those were her last words. The man put a gun to her head, fired off two rounds, and killed her. Sheriff Dupnik described Forde as “at best, a psychopath” and called the murder of Brisenia “one of the most despicable acts that I have heard of.” Forde faces first-degree murder charges, along with two alleged accomplices: Jason Bush, a white supremacist who authorities suspect is a serial killer and who was recently implicated in the murder of a Mexican man in Washington state, and Albert Gaxiola, an Arivaca resident who has served time in prison for drug dealing. Bush has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for trial in March; Gaxiola has pleaded not guilty and is headed to trial in June. Though the Pima County Attorney’s Office didn’t return calls for comment, prosecutors are expected to argue that Forde planned the home invasion with the intention of stealing drugs and money from Raul Flores to fund her border-policing activities. Forde, who faces the death penalty if convicted, says she’s innocent and claims she wasn’t even at the murder scene. (Her lead attorney, Eric Larson, declined to comment.) Well innocent until proven guilty but if guilty I hope they get the max.

Your propaganda link is a bit disjointed. It talks about a female suspect, but only mentions the alleged crimes of "a man". I'm afraid to click your link because most of your links are to hate sites and I'd rather not see that type of bigotry on my screen.

I thought this would be a story about one of the many deaths along the Arizona border by illegal immigrants...but then I realized this was Lakhota - and to him only white people are killers...oh well.

What does attacking me personally have to do with the story?

What does attacking me personally have to do with the story? Considering all you did was post the story with no input whatsoever on its content - all I had left was to ask why did Lakhota post this story of two white supremacist maniacs and ignore the multitude of other Arizona shootings that involve non-white illegals of sound mind? As for some reason your title of the post seems to suggest there are only two shooting horrors in Arizona...

I know you're only 32-years-old, but that was the title given to the story by the author.
Let me spoon feed it to you: She is a female Minuteman!

What does this have to do with politics or the market? Lakhota, why don't you open a thread titled, The Most Vile Crimes in America. This way the rest of us can avoid the thread knowing there will be nothing there that would tickle our fancy. At the very least you should identify your links as hate sites.

IF this is true-- just another nut. Here, Lak-- this is from todays news. Let me know if you want more. These stories are very common the last several years. azstarnet.com/news/local/article_fc5983d4-25a9-11e0-9c1f-001cc4c002e0.html1,200 at memorial service Tucson honors slain Border Patrol agent A month may have passed since Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was slain on the job, but grief over his death has not subsided in Southern Arizona. More than 1,200 people turned out today for a memorial service honoring the 40-year-old agent, who was killed Dec. 14 near Rio Rico in what authorities described as a shootout with border bandits. This one was about 25 minutes from my house, between Nogales, Mexico, and Tucson.

It is not a requirement to label your post the same title as an article you are linking to within the post...it was a conscious choice on your part to do so.

I haven't decided if the OP is for real or just a pot stirrer. If for real, then we can confuse him with facts and common sense. If a pot stirrer, then we can encourage him to go somewhere else to stir the pot.
Hmmm, The Daily Beast. I wonder where it's published. Doubt if it's in Arizona, and I wonder if the publisher is a ding-bat.
There is a lot of good in Arizona ...... a lot more than just a few off-the-wall idiots.

Daily Beast is a hate site. Published online-only and reserved for only the most extreme left-wing bigots. Go on the site and do a search for "Israel + terrorist" and you'll see what I mean...the anti-Semitism is disgusting, and only one of the several bigoted biases they project.

Ed-it really is simply a matter of one's politics. I find the Canada Free Press and The Washington Times to be anti-American and reserved for the most extreme right-wing bigots. And those two publications (among others) are often quoted by Conservative posters as the absolute truth. Just because you believe the Daily Beast, Huffington Post, etc to be hate sites or bigoted does not make it fact. And just because I believe the Canada Free Press, The Washington Times, etc. to be hate and bigoted sites does not make that fact either. It only makes it our own personal opinions and nothing more.

That's brilliant, Tenn, thanks. I never purport that my posts are anything other than my opinions. After all, I'm not a liberal...my words are not an oracle, it's not like I'm Barack Obama or anything like that...

Well, I'm just glad she wasn't a male Minuteman.
You are unfairly trying to tar an entire group because of the actions of one. We recently had a police detective here that murdered his ex-wife's lover. Is the entire Police Department to be held accountable? I think not.

It's good to know your posts are nothing more than your opinions. And because they are only your opinions and not fact, you won't be needing to call anyone here an anti-Semite in the future as it would be libel. It's when you use the word 'is', as in "Daily Beast is a hate site." that makes it appear as if it is fact when in actuality it is only your humble opinion.

Years ago we had a group in NYC called "The Guardian Angels" that tried to pick up the slack when NYC slashed its police force during the Fiscal crisis.
The Guardian Angels were well intentioned and started out well, but then fell apart due to lack of leadership. I saw one episode of "Cops" years ago where the GAs were involved in an altercation. They had approached a developmentally disabled young man and demanded he show them his ID and prove that he lived in the apartment complex where they found him. When he refused, they wouldn't let him walk away and badgered him until he finally took a swing at one of them. The whole group then beat him to a pulp. Turns out the guy did live in the complex, he just felt (rightly) that he didn't have to prove it to somebody not in law enforcement. The cops really wanted to arrest the GAs, but couldn't because he swung first.

Because many of them are wannabe cops with an overinflated sense of self-importance that use highly questionable if not downright illegal tactics. The cops are also afraid of them going up against armed criminals like drug dealers and starting a shootout.

If you would enjoy being questioned and bullied by random strangers then you would never have a problem with any vigilante group.
The Minutemen do not stop, question, or detain people. They set up observation posts and report suspicious activities to the Border Patrol.

That's true but it's easier for the liberals to promote hate and bigotry against the Minutemen if they portray them as criminals...
