But I see regular posters creating threads all the time. So, what's wrong with this one? I am done discussing. You don't believe, and as a moderator, I suppose you are using that power. So be it. It's all good.  There's nothing wrong with this thread, femme. If there were, it would have been removed. That's how the moderators' "power" would be used, if there was a need for it. There isn't. You just need to understand that it might not go all your way. There will be non-believers posting here. |

Sounds fantastic to me Heart  I could use a little help here. They don't seem to understand my intentions. Please do put up some verses. I would love that. |

This thread is only for the one's who do believe in God. Please don't slam the Lord in here. This is a place for God loving people to congregate and state their love for God. You can't exclude people from this thread. Its that simple. |

Femme, I'm not hear to instigate, but it should be pointed out that this is not an atheist board. Nor are there any "for atheists only" threads. We are certainly not creating one and demanding that no positive comments about God be posted. But more importantly, I fail to see the "hate" that you claim exists. No one is "hating" on believers. Some of us may disagree with you, some quite passionately, but I for one do not hold ill feelings against anyone here or elsewhere. I do feel that some of the things being said about atheists here are hyperbolic at best and that can lead to anger - but outright hatred? I don't see it. And note, I did not say anything negative about God. As for moderators, there are moderators assigned to specific boards, but no one can start a thread and claim it as their own or set additional rules that go beyond the standard ones issued by the admins. As for how they are selected, I believe on this board they are elected. Precisely, Shirina. Amongst my set of close friends (and family) there are believers and non-believers. It doesn't interfere with our ability to care for one another and to honor the differences between us. Moderators here are, indeed, elected. The last time an election was held there were so few willing to do the job that all applicants were accepted. |

I read the verse you posted earlier.. Matthew 7:21-23. Can I ask you as question concerning that verse? I held a study for that exact verse once a few years ago..
Maybe I will go ahead and ask anyway.. The latter portion of the verse which states God will say to those He knew them not.. To whom would you say Jesus meant He would know not?
