In The Leather
Are you ok ? We have been concerned how you endured the tornados that hit your state so awfully hard. So, if you are able to see this, please let us know how you and your family are doing. We hope that you were among the lucky ones that suffered little or not at all.
Hoping all is well for you and yours, Scalpem and your friends in the chat room

Hey Scalpem,
Thank you and everyone for your concern, yes my family and I are safe. We watched a funnel cloud come directly at us and thankfully pass over our house without touching down. It was wild for a moment. My heart goes out to everyone who did suffer during these storms.
Hope everyone else is ok. It's been a crazy year for storms pretty much everywhere.
Take care.

You are not alone Rick ! I think of you anytime I hear of a plane crashing....... Like when i hear a toilet flush in the morning, I think of secret or if there is a wardrobe malfunction a la Janet Jackson/Super Bowl I think of cdh...... So you see my mind still works in mysterious ways (which is the politically correct way of saying I am a little bit or a lot nuts)

I'm here every day too. I think we all come on here at least once a day to get the morning picks. Of course the chat is the place to be every day as that is where we congregate. I just hope any newcomers that find this forum will know there is a chat where they can get live help and a chance to make money live in the market every day with this amazing group of traders.

Oh no Scalp, you just made me think of the bad line about dropping the kids off at the pool. However, I'm with you on the wardrobe malfunction.

The Cosby's are from 20 years ago, maybe it's time we moved on to something more current. I think the new version is "dropping the Obama's off at the oval office."

From the twisters that ripped alabama apart now to missouri. Is there anyone that needs a 5000w gas generator? I have access to some. In alabama we placed over 500 generators as they had massive power outages. If you know anyone effected and would like one please let me know. I can't come into the chat room to ask as I have been banned.

That's generous Skip. At one point last night we had six warnings active around us for possible tornadoes. It was a crazy night. Looks to be continuing through Wednesday. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected in Joplin.

Intheleather, Even I always took for granted the effects of tornado's. I mean Never really paid much attention because I really just didn't know they caused soooo much damage. You see stuff on tv but I always assumed they were putting up the worst stuff they could for news coverage. UNTIL i was in alabama and saw 1st hand the power of the twisters. It's unreal and heart breaking to see the amount of damage. We were staying in our 5th wheel camper down there and twisters were forming all around us. We got lucky as the only damage we had were the trailer jacks on the right side got bend. In the camp ground we received insulation, roofing, tin and mail from air drops. Let me know if anyone may need a generator. I am unable to travel this week with my daughter graduation. But I will find a way to get them there if needed.

Oh man Skippy. Riding out twisters in a fifth wheel. And to think I thought your trades were gutsy.
I'm not too sure about the TVIX as a pick but I will be looking at SNE as another Gap Dn.
I'm sorry to hear about your banishment but Congratulations on your daughter's graduation

Being from out West I never really appreciated the awesome power that comes with these storms. This year's storms have been unreal. I'll let you know for sure. Glad you made it out of Alabama alright, it must have been an incredible experience.
