Isn't it a pain when you realize that your evidence doesn't actually supports you pre-determined conclusion. But at least it didn't stop you.

I'm starting to love ugonow's thread titles. They never seem to have anything to do with the actual articles posted. Not only is this article over 2 years old, it says nothing about dems using the tragedy to accomplish anything. You clearly did not read any of the article other than the title & made an assumption about what the rest must say.

So what do you suppose the intent behind loudly proclaiming his reading habits was? If he liked James Patterson, think it would be headline news?

So what do you suppose the intent behind loudly proclaiming his reading habits was? If he liked James Patterson, think it would be headline news? If he had written a 4-page letter detailing how he followed James Pattersons ideology & was targeting those that didn't agree with Patterson, then yes, it would have been headline news.

Right. They inform you of the news reader's (typically liberal) opinion, and showcase the networks' adeptness at spinning information to tack to their audience's preconceived notions...

So conservative's don't bother to read the news? That could explain a lot!
;D

You said "news stations" so I assume you are referring to television news. If so, then yes, most conservatives I know (myself included) do not get their news from television. If you think you're getting the straight story from Katie Couric or Brian Williams or, LOL, Jon Stewart, you might as well strap on a bell and head back out to the pasture...

I never said news stations, that was someone else. I was only responding to your "news readers", which I took to mean individuals reading newspapesrs & such, which implies liberals are reading their news & by extension conservatives don't read the news. Although now that I reread your statement, I see you may have meant news readers to mean the people on TV that read the news on live TV & their liberal opinion. With this interpretation of your statement, mine seems a lot less funny.

I would wonder about the motive behind whoever posted this on Facebook yesterday when it is 2 years old. Stirring the pot??
Any way-- very sad story. Sounds like a self admitted right wing nut. Yes-- they come in all "shapes."

Personaly I see it more as blood lible. It is hard to get taken seriously when you can't even spell the word correctly.
