How about some old areas of growth. My son's workplace has many open positions ... engineering, purchasing, production ... and can't find people to fill the slots. They produce capital equipment used in food, chemical, pharma, & plastics manufacturing. Lots of orders and customers wanting very fast delivery which they can not accommodate because of the open positions. Also, local electronics manufacturer (my old start-up) is trying to add a second shift for production / assembly of circuit boards used in capital equipment for manufacturing plants.

Well first I like to say that what rovo is talking about is a huge signal for expansion. Also from what I can tell innovation has sped up a lot. Last year the volume was in the energy sector now it's leaning more towards the tech. Energy is important, however lots of people and lots of gadgets coming online in the future! Food though no matter what, is going to be something that will be HUGE. Oh ya, I have few things to say over on MT as well.. Dont I know you from somewhere?

The GPS is really interesting. Right now they have Planters that have GPS systems that when you pull into a field, you plant around it once then your planter sets itself to that area. A 36 row planter that has each row that comes out of the ground individual when you get to the end of the Field. Something to see when your end rows are not square. Then goes back down when you turn around.

It takes a pretty good computer to run all of that TEC and programs to run them. I wonder who makes the software.

I'll look into it. That's a good question. I would assume it runs off a PC running windows. I have been around some automated milling equipment and it all runs off Windows PCs.. Just wait until NOK comes out with their Windows smart phones Ty, they are the largest cell manufacturer on earth for a reason.

It's to bad they are the LAST to come out with them. But I haven't cared about the Internet on my phone. When it rings, I want to talk to you and if I don't you can leave me a message and I will get back to you. That's all I want on a Phone. Wait till the Big Boys start putting money Back into NOK, right now they are still pulling it out. Don't buck them, I learned a long time ago it doesn't pay. JMO
