Oh, good grief. And I thought paying for other people's abortions was bad. Yeah, I know, I am not socially conscious and aware, and I am heartless and do not care about others.. even though I am strong on gay rights and could care less who does who in the privacy of their own space. Insurances will not pay for BOOB jobs, but this company will contribute $20,000 to SEX CHANGES??? Man-- life is weird, and getting weirder every day.

They are setting aside a one time 20k, this seems like they have some individuals already in mind that will get the money.

Oh, well, if it passes, Berkeley will be a really fun place to work.
You know, since I had my 5 kids I do not feel I am able to be my inner Goddess due to the boobs, belly smile, and all of the things that go in to continuing the human race. I think I should have a right to be my inner self-- don't you guys?? Full body makeover for all Moms, right, Berkeley?? LOL!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, dumb thread, but it struck me as so ridiculous I had to post it.
Come to think of it, I am tired of being a woman. It often limits me. I feel like a suppressed minority, and would like to try having one of those man things to see if it makes me feel more whole, you know?
I would be MAD as hell if my premium went up on my insurance, or my taxes went up, so the company (city) I worked for could pay for sex changes. Of course they will not tell people that. They will say we are going to lay off cops, firemen, and teachers!! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure, as long as you need a sex change and have no issues whatsoever with local gov't. Tucson city gov't would get lynched for doing this, and this city is liberal.

Personally, I'd be looking to fire my city council at the next election if they were voting to blow my tax dollars on cosmetic surgery. |

But why should tax payers throw in $20,000. a year for a sex change?? They say it is not a cosmetic or mental health issue, but a general health issue. Your children will benefit for the rest of their lives when you have been able to have your body parts adjusted to match your mental gender identity. 2. 36D. 3. Some will be removed.
