Late Jan 19, 2011.
The downward rally continues today. In a renunciation of fiat currencies, stocks in general and the black hole of debt, gold has gone from $1374 allllllllllllll ............................ the way downnnnnnnnn .................. to $1368.
The overall change from the Jan 12, 2011 prediction remains in negative territory.
Wait to see if more days like this happen, and see if the gold bugs will then cry "manipulation". Watch for it. It's their last bastion. When they don't like the numbers, they deny that the numbers really exist. Just like those who see inflation everywhere. Denial.

January 20, 2011.
There's action today. Gold dropping like a rock. Oh. Wait a minute. Gold is a rock. OK, there's your insight into today's action. Well, it makes as much sense as the old tried and true "marrrrketttt manipppppulationnnnnn".
Opening at $1369, the chart shows it's already been as low as $1344. This is as bad a showing as we've seen since the Rally call.
But, not to worry. Gold is shiny. Look at it .......... Shiny, oh so shiny. It makes people feel all warm when they look at it... when they hold it they feel erotic. Ohhhhhhhh, gimme more of that stuff!!!!!

Yeah, and ignorant fools have failed to read the news concerning manipulation, then comment on it as if it's some conspiracy when it's all over the mainstream news, which the ignorant fail to read, or even take into account.

January 21, 2011. Ahhhh, the chart. The chart always separates the gold from the bollchit. As gold closed below $1350, one might have thought that perhaps a bottom had formed. They'd be wrong, though, as gold has dropped even lower. Open at $1348 and broke $1340 to a recent low of ~$1338. Not apparently forming as a bottom. And again, proof that there was no gold rally beginning on Jan. 12. Instead the price keeps going lower, and lower, and lower, and lower. Say, how come the gold bugs never see market manipulation when the price is going up, only when it is going down? ? There's a word for that..... what the heck is that word? ...... CONVENIENCE! That's it! Convenience!

Ahhhhhhh. The patient has resuscitated. He's sucking mud, but at least he's sucking something. Oy gevalt, the mid $1350s.

I don't care what you guys say. It's been 45 years but the nehru jacket is coming back, in a big way.

Very short time in the 60s. You just reminded me to embarrass my brother on FB. My brothers got me with some bad fashion from the 70s...payback time!

And down she goes yet again. Gold has broken below $1335. I'm sure there will be a bottom to this drop, but it is far from clear how LOW it will GO. The rally cry from January 12 was wrong, oh so wrong. Instead just the opposite is happening. Red as far as the eye can see.
A good drop to $1250 would be healthy for gold. I might even think of buying a little more if things stabilize around $1200, but I'd want to see if it sets a bottom.
Zeit nit kain nar!

The ultra short gold etf might well be this week's winning ETF.

Ooooh. I forgot silver which is dropping even more precipitously than gold. My bad.
However, you won't find me deleting posts and inserting lies in their place. Somebody else has a monopoly on that technique.

$1150 may not be low enough. The chart will tell.

And the downward rally continues. From the opening at $1335, gold has moved down firmly into the $1320s. Not a good sign, boys and girls. No volume on the MT charts, so I looked at the intraday on GLD. Volume dropped as the price dropped, with no increased volume on the minor peaks - meaning no confidence that we are near a bottom.
Literally every day the gold bugs are bleeding red ink. That's gotta hurt.

Gold is recovering on the current MT chart. However, it keeps banging its head against $1335.
Stomping? Well, gold is getting stomped at $1335. It's a freaking game of Whack-A-Mole! Stick up your head, little Moley ... WHACK! It's OK, I won't hit you again ... WHACK! Just how much more can these little guys take? WHACK!
WHACK!
... ad infinitum ...
