Cussing at other drivers when I'm in the car! Calling 'em names. Calling their mothers names. Wishing warts and ugly toenail fungus on them.
ETA: Peach! Why didn't you post breakfast in the coffee shop this morning? Quit slacking, dammit. Too late now, but maybe a nice lunch?

Simply being by myself. Seriously. I actually usually enjoy being alone and free to do whatever I want without feeling like I need to be doing something else. I'll listen to music, knit, or poke around the internet, or read. I started hiking solo this past fall and I LOVED it. I'm not an anti-social person, I just like being by myself. I know people who can't handle that, but I cherish my alone-time (and I'm getting married soon & looking forward to having kids - what am I thinking?! LOL)

Cael, be prepared to not having alone time again for at least 18 years (and maybe longer) once you've got kids. You might as well skip the possibility of uninterrupted sleep, too

I love my alone time too. I always look forward to having the house to myself. It's nice to do only what I want to do. I've even been known to ask DH "don't you want to take a fishing trip with your buddies?"
Miss R, your lunch has been served

I love my alone time too. Watching TV and either cross stitching or playing around on the Internet is nice. I also love to read and that is definitely a solo activity

My fav is probably reading. I have been known to pick up a book and not be heard from until I'm done reading it (except to cook and eat).

Lounging outside in a hammock with a book I could spend an entire day at the property doing this while DS and his friend chase each other around with air-soft guns. The only time I get up is to follow the sun. *super happy sigh*

If I'm not buried in a book, I usually will be crocheting/sewing something or painting. If I start a project, I get the point where I want to see the final result so I tend to forget there's still a world out there.

Scottish - I know what you mean about starting a project and not wanting to stop. Once I start the cross stich, I don't stop until I am cross eyed

Suz!!! Counted Cross-stitch is my obsession. I;ve always got one on the go. I do a few small ones as gifts for nieces for their rooms, and I've even done some cross-stitch on sweatshirts or plain denim shirts to put a design on them.
I've done some very intricately detailed larger pictures and had them framed. Some were done on linen, which takes so much patience so no mistakes are made. One of them took me almost a year. I'll take some pics of some of my finished works and try to post them for you. ____________________

I use to love doing counted cross stitch. Had to give it up...too tough on the eyes. I even tried using a frame with a magnifying class & light attachment.

Practical jokes. I don't do them often, so that the same victims family and friends aren't expecting it.

Cael, be prepared to not having alone time again for at least 18 years (and maybe longer) once you've got kids. You might as well skip the possibility of uninterrupted sleepDitto and it is a major adjustment when you are a person who likes being alone. I used to spend 3 hours at the library on weekends just poking around looking for books because I liked the quiet and being by myself. Not much of that going on anymore. Since DH has to go to work at 4am he goes to bed at around 7:30 pm and DD shortly follows. I'll take those couple of hours I am pretty much "alone" and either watch whatever I want on TV or read while drinking tea.

I'll just have to try to take advantages of the few moments I get at that point... until then, I plan to enjoy every second of my alone time!

Working out at the gym. I talk to no one, and no one talks to me. I find it rather peaceful.

Back in Chitown, I used to head out to Starved Rock and hike about once a week. I do about 1.2 miles a day now on the beach, and I'm heading out into the glades next month for a 5 day kayak trip-- by my lonesome. Can't wait.

I really like time alone. I am very social and do love to spend time with my family as well. But sometimes I just really enjoy (need actually) some time at home by myself. I love to be able to read, listen to whatever music I feel like, watch whatever I feel like on TV, and I enjoy the message boards and Facebook.

Ut oh. Young man found in Coral Gables, Florida, dead. Found on the back porch of a single family dwelling in a bathtub. Surrounded by a white liquid awaiting analysis. It appears to be milk.
Yep.
A cereal killer.
