And no, to you goof offs, it's not an orgasmic thing. Well, then I have nothing to say. It seems like most people here work for the government and have memorial day off. You might get a better response in another area. No, I don't feel any pending sense of doom.

We are about to enter a double dip recession and Israel are thinking about bombing Iran.......both of those things are somewhat gloomy. Could that be it?

Maybe you are more sensitive to things around you, and pick up on different "vibrations", for lack of a better word.
Honestly, for me it's just another day with its usual distractions, pleasantries and small anticipations.

Harold Camping kept feeling something, too, but then admitted that it was just gas pains.

LOL
Your brand of coffee: an old Dutch saying proclaims that “Coffee has two virtues: it is wet and warm.”
Actually, it should also and always be strong.
You are up in the Sierras. Start preparing to be warm, and don't shoot any wolves.

Well, since I'm Irish/Italian, I specialize in espresso with a splash of Baileys. Hard, strong, but it goes down sweet and smooth.

I get this feeling from time to time- unfortunately it's usually right- thankfully it's usually less severe than thought to be.

I've always been a night owl, from as long as I can remember. It's brutal when I have to work day shifts.

the feeling that something is about to happen in a cosmic, earth or spiritual kind of way? I don't know. It's NOT like an Armageddon or earth shifting on its axis type of thing, but something else. Maybe like an awakening. Not sure if it's political, but don't think so, although that could be part of it. It's almost like the feeling you get right before a storm, when lightening is expected, but on a grander scale? I just feel it, have been for some time now, and wonder if others also feel it. And no, to you goof offs, it's not an orgasmic thing. A consciousness awakening of some sort. I'm feeling something most the time, but I have a extremely strong mind/body connection from meditating for 19 years. So with me it could be anything.

My mind was non stop chatter when I started, but after a while the chatter tunes out and pure blissful silence is what greets you. The meditation CD Just Being by Dean Sluyter was the one that helped me. Get the CD or MP3 from his website or Amazon.
It's because you fight the chatter that it doesn't turn off. Relax stop fighting. Just be.

Relax stop fighting. Just be. So, I should just let the chatter happen? Wouldn't that just get me too excited to continue? I've used Janet Decker's Hypnosis CDs and that's the closest I've been able to get. I'll check out Sluyter, as I'd really like to master this. Thanks. Your fighting the chatter, just give up the fight and "just be'. I have to check out that name cause I've never heard of her.

The chatter is fine just as long as you don't react to it. Reacting to the mind chatter is a habit you need to break.

Yes, I think we are in a global shift of enlightenment right now. I haven't really had the weird coicedences happen much lately but I used to have them daily. A great book to read is The Celistine Prophecy. Yes it is fiction, but it's really not to me and it opened up a whole new world to me. Everything in the univerese is tied together and we can tap in if we keep our minds open to it.

I haven't done dynamic meditation on this. I stepped back from it about 4 yrs. ago for reasons I won't go into.
The roiling in minds of the 12/21/12 date might be influencing you. The Y2K pump up came close to mass hysteria. For sensitive peeps, the build up to these events does bother.
The way to calm this is keep track of your sensing and your thoughts. Just before you go to sleep, ask your mind to clearly tell you what it wants you to know about a certain event. The answer will come in the morning. Be open to the answer and record what you recall or what directions you are pointed in.
If you continue to feel like you are in a meditative state, say 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, wide awake and feeling better and better everyday in each and every way. Walking around in a meditative state feels like you want go lay down and go to sleep easily.
I have a lot of uncanny events like calling someone when they are thinking about me or when they are in distress. I listen to the small quiet voice giving guidance most of the time. I have been guided to things I need to buy even if it's not evident why I need it. If I don't buy it, I usually end up spending more on a like item. I won't go on and on.
The main thing is listen to yourself and learn. The big thing to learn is the difference between impulse and guidance.
Best wishes on your journey. And Rick there are no mushrooms involved. They're unnecessary.

Always. I'm the MuscleUp and others have viewed me and my lifestyle as elegant and cosmic in most cases. I'm the MuscleUp. The sun always shines in my life. I'm the MuscleUp. My sense of identity is unfaltering. I'm the MuscleUp. Who else could I be? In what part of what galaxy do you belong ?

A Shift in Consciousness is taking place in the Fall, so everyone will be feeling something. Apparently these Shifts are happening at a faster rate so something is happening. For me it's time to get back to my spiritual side again.

I firmly believe in human intuition or sixth sense, I feel it gets stronger as one ages like a form of wisdom.

Did anything happen yet? This thread is 9 months old. Did the earth implode and I didn't notice because I'm stuck at my desk?

There are thousands of people who have the answer. But, when anyone tries to give it, others do things like the above poster did. So, they leave people to their own demise. It's the polite thing to do.
