HOUND ALERT.... I'm looking for extra Q's from this week RP Crisco Oil 1/2, our local grocery store has them on sale, they're having a mega sale like Kroger is, but they're calling it take $5 back LOL, anyway they're $1.99 for a 48oz bottle, I think that's a pretty good price for around here anyways. TIA EDIT.... who was looking for the Lysol No-Touch System? I have 4 of the 3/1 Q's if they're still needed, just got them today, just PM and I'll be glad to send them out. That was me! I'll pm you after I get my paper in the morning. If I get the q, I won't need them, thanks!

CVS: PUREX LAUNDRY SOAP DEAL ALERTIf your laundry soap stockpile is running low: starting 11/13, CVS will have Purex (28-33 load) on price slash (or whatever it is they say in their ads) for $1.88. If we get REALLY lucky there might be a Q in the 11/13 inserts. This is a rock bottom price for Purex at CVS. Their regular sale is BOGO, which isn't nearly as good. This would be a REALLY GOOD time to get a rain check.

Ladies - Is it my imagination or don't we have any Qs for the TG deals at the Kroger mega? I checked today and there seems to be no Qs for the stuffing, gravy, broth, cake mix etc. which were free with doubles last year. Last year I bought a ton of stuff for free since I was buying 5-6 papers every week and went to Kroger 3 - 4 times a week to gather all items for the mega the week before TG and donated everything to my food bank. I also remember there being printable Qs in addition to MQs, but this year there seems to be nothing.

If not, I'm going to be totally bummed.

dancinmama,
Target has the green beans and broth already on sale today and I am fairly sure it's on price cut until 11/30- 69 cents a can on both items - you may have the same or lower price. I did not check anything else.
Kroger usually has these priced at 49 cents after the Mega and with Qs it would be free.

I don't have a Kroger and not sure what brands you are looking for, but I've seen quite a few IP's recently. They seem to run out of prints really fast though. IP's don't always work for me cuz the store I shop at the most doesn't take them, at all... I have tear pads for Stove Top, not too exciting, I think they are B3g1 free. There are lots of GM q's for Betty Crocker, but I rarely, if ever, see Duncan Hines or Pillsbury any more. Campbell's had IP's for canned gravy that I just printed. HTH

I started looking through our pantry for Thanksgiving items. We're close to being ready, (sort of) except for the bird. Butterball has a coupon on Coupons dot com for $3.00 off of your turkey when you buy four select items. Many of the items they ask you to purchase you probably already have coupons for (crescent rolls, etc) Butterball also has a $5.00 rebate (in the form of five $1.00 coupons) on their website. It's not cash, but, it's better than nothing. www.butterball.com/savings

I went to Walmart last night to see if I could use the $6/2 schick disposable razors coupons that I still have since they have yet to restock. I also went to do my own coupon matchups, as none of the blogs I follow ever seem to have prices comparable to my Walmart. It was, as usual, a considerable disappointment. Almost every item for which I had coupons, was marked up to make the coupon a moot point, they really aren't a "one stop shop" unless you want to waste a considerable amount of money. I had .50/1 four pack yoplait yogurts that expired 11/5 and they were on sale for $2 each, so I used those, the Ritz munchables were 2.50 each, and I had $1/1 coupons, so I used those, as they were about to expire, and I really wanted to try those. I had a free Idahoan boxed potatoes coupon that I used and a $1.50 off Pebbles Marshmallow cereal which made that box of cereal $1. There wasn't really anything else worth my time, but I haven't checked my local Walmart in a really long time, so now I know....

RE Detergent. Here's a deal for Free detergent, Colgate, Pads at RA. Buy 2 @ $7, get $3 UPs. There's a $1/2 Q on their site. You need to enter your email & zip, in order to print the Qs.
Trans 1 4 x Colgate t/paste $14.00 Less 4 Colgate Qs 4.00 Less $10 UPs (10.00) from my Aveeno deal last week OOP $0.00 + tax, get $14 UPs.
Trans 2 4 x AH Detergent $14.00 Stayfree Pads 3.00 Less 2 x $1/2 Qs (2.00) Less Stayfree Q (1.00) Less Ups from Trans 1 (14.00) OOP $0.00, get $8 UPs ($6 AH, $2 Stayfree)
Trans 3 Keri Lotion $6.99 Stayfree Pads 3.00 Newspaper 1.20 Less Keri Q (2.00) Less STayfree Q (1.00) Less UPs Trans 2 (8.00) OOP $0.19, get $8.99 UPs ($6.99 Keri, $2 Stayfree).
So I'll spend 19c + tax for all the above items & still have $8.99 in Ups. Which means I've only spend $1.01 in UPs. Great deal for detergent, toothpaste & cotton ponies.
Does anyone remember when we got all that free A&H detergent at WAGS a few yrs ago, with the in-ad Q & Jingle Cash. That sure was fun. I hope there's another deal like that, since WAGS has the Jingle cash again this year.
Happy Sunday everyone!

Pubbler: Thanks so much for deals for RA, and yes I remember the A&H jingle cash deal!!! It was beyond fabulous, I think I am just now using some of my last bottles from that deal. That year I got the A&H for profit, Tide Total care for .27 after coupon (they clearanced it at WAGs), and there was another Tide deal I think at CVS where I got the Tide with Febreeze for free or less than a $1 I can't say I remember that one very clearly....

I checked both my CVS stores yesterday to see if they had the creamy Jif PB to know if it was worth an early morning drive. They both were out, due to the 3/$5 sale, so I got a raincheck for this past week's ad price, and I plan to get a raincheck for this week's sale price, too. Anybody want to say, "inflation proofing my peanut butter supply"?

We're not idiots. We figure out what is worthwhile and what is a waste of time in a real hurry.

It was THE BEST. Do you remember how many bottles you were able to stockpile. I thought it was quite a few. Unfortunately I didn't get the Q in my inserts so I had to sit on the sidelines and watch while you all were having fun. ;D Luckily I had a pretty good stockpile of Purex at the time, but I sure was having A&H envy. I don't remember the Tide deal at CVS. It must have been before the Longs conversion.

I think we had a small MM at RA earlier this year with the Purex - on sale for 1.88, had a 1$ off Q and get back 1 Up. I bought a few at that time.
If anyone sees any deals on the Woolite, please let me know. TIA

What all this shows you is that no matter what major drug chains you have, all have given us opportunities to stockpile free laundry soap. BTW, my last free Purex came from WAGs when there was a VERY RARE $3/1 coupon out. I don't remember the deal exactly now, but everyone was scrambling for those great Purex coupons. If I remember correctly, I stockpiled (6) from that sale.

Dancin: I will also be getting the jam raincheck IF strawberry is included. On the A&H, I had my DH help, and I know I got 20 or 24 A&H because I gave some to a friend and a friend's mom who has been struggling financially.

Hey ladies! Started my $325 food budget, so far so good! I decided to do a weekly shopping trip...doing this I have not wasted anything and I am only buying things I need. My weekly budget is $81/week, this includes house hold stuff. Yesterday my store had broccoli crowns on sale for $.79/lb so I bought some and made cream of broccoli soup, real nice n healthy. Have they stopped doing the P&G coupon books? I haven't seen them since Aug. at my store so I am not sure.

Thanks for giving me the input on Pepsi. It came out to $1 a bottle & i had B2G1 FREE. But the cashier took of the whole $1.50 for each MQ so i came out way ahead. I got 24 bottles for about $14. The store was giving and extra .50 to make it a dollar but the checkout didn't register that for some reason. Thinking of heading back with DH tonight. that HAS to be a stock up price .......lol
