The TSA people must have thought I was preparing from some kind of cocoa shortage when they scanned my carry on bag. Nineteen chocolate bars! I'm jellis...Me luvz some chocolate. I'm surprised I'm not 200 lbs! Lol ;D

I've moved all the scripts over to a temporary third-party server. Many of the smileys, images, etc. are still hosted on the "down" server still, however, and will be missing if you don't have them cached. Also, the global stylesheet is missing... so things may look odd. tee hee. Snerd, you're so bad!

I thought of you last week -- DD made a Halloween book called "spooky buddies" but she drew the d's backwards and it looked like "Spooky Bubbies". ;D

OK. Server is evidently up and running again. I can resume with my annoying posts.
Un-announcing this thread.

Aw, thanks, Beer. Other than the misery of getting home through Saturday's storm in NY/NJ, it was great. There was rain in NYC Thursday, but we worked around it. Did a lot of touristy things, like the Brooklyn Bridge walk, the Staten Island Ferry, the "Top of the Rock tour, Pier 17, the Intrepid, and Central Park. Our anniversary was Tuesday, and we ate at Sarabeth's.
Also got to the 9/11 Memorial. Geez, that was tough. I was fine walking around the south fountain. I finally lost it around the north fountain. I forced myself to walk around both and read all the names. The hard ones were the women whose names were followed with the words, "and her unborn child." It's when you read all those names (the memorial also includes those who died at the Pentagon, those who died in all three aircraft and those who died in the 1993 WTC bombing), that you understand the scale of what happened. The Survivor Tree is in the middle of the plaza. Odd how all the trees around it had brown leaves, yet the Survivor Tree was still green and pretty.

Thanks! He's put up with me much too long! I made that poor man walk all over NYC! But I did feed him well while we were there. Bagels and pizza and deli, oh, my!

Virgil, just tell everybody the boards were haunted earlier and you've exorcised the demon. Now what body part of the dragon can I click on to exalt you?

Dang it Virgil! I figured the clicking on the tail to ignore was just a way to do something else mean to us, but it really ignored you Now how do I get you back?Erm... you can't. And you can't read what I'm typing now, either. So I'm... kinda talking to myself here. Meow meow meow meow meow meow meow. Virgil, just tell everybody the boards were haunted earlier and you've exorcised the demon.
Now what body part of the dragon can I click on to exalt you?Ah ah. Sinclair is a leviathan. The leviathan is a biblical creature. It's referred to as one of the great extinct creatures of the Earth, along with the behemoth. The animals are never mentioned in a context where it makes it clear whether they're figurative (mythical) or if they refer to actual extinct species (the megalodon [an extinct type of shark] as "leviathan" and possibly the mammoth as "behemoth"). There are other suggestions too, based on pure speculation. I took some creative license with "leviathan". And all exalts should go to mmhmm, moon, and chiver, who have been diligent in putting out fires because of the stunt.
