What bizarre thoughts have you had?
I'll go first:
I once wondered if a range fence was put up to keep the rocks lined up along the other side of the fence from crossing the highway and getting hurt.

LMAO, that's hilarious!!! I've had so many random bizarre thoughts, but I can't think of any off the top of my head. I'll be sure to put them up if I remember!

Sometimes when driving I want to crash into those concrete barriers...No I am not suicidal I just think it would be an adrenaline rush.

I have often wondered what the other cars would think of me if I slalomed around the orange highway construction barrels and what my time would be.

I like to make plans on how I would pick my victims if I were ever to become a serial killer in a way least likely to make me caught based on profiling my location. So far I've gotten:
Pick a common name from a phone book, kill one person from each state going through them alphabetically that had that name (like John Smith). 1 person from the state capital in all 50 states based on the order they released those commemorative quarters. 1 person from every county in our state working through counties alphabetically.
this was a 45 minute conversation with my gf on the commute home from work one day. There were 2-3 other methods, she didn't look comfortable by my level of thought on the topic lol.

Re: driving.
This isn't so much as a weird thought as it is evidence of my broken brain...
I have a hard time with right and left (but NOT north, south, east, and west...I have a terrific sense of direction), so I have a very hard time knowing which side of the road to drive on.
So here's how I handle it: Say I want to go south. I wait for south-bound cars to drive by; whichever side of the road they're on, I get on that side and just follow along. Voila!
Each and every time I drive, at least once (though sometimes more), I have a sudden moment of panic when I suddenly feel like I'm on the wrong side of the road. I find myself quickly looking around to "match" car directions and lanes. Ain't fun, that's for sure.

Lol @ crashing into things, I think the same thing. I've also had the urge at work to just "reach out and touch something" but that "something" is usually energized at 13,800 volts or more. I have no idea why, but I want to grab it (not suicidal either). And serial killer stuff? Yeah, I've done that too. Damn, if I wasn't sickeningly sweet I'd be a psycho!

Oh, I also had this fear of getting a papercut in my eye growing up. You know how teachers let kids pass out papers while you're sitting at the desk, their hands at eye-level? <<shiver>>

I once wondered if a range fence was put up to keep the rocks lined up along the other side of the fence from crossing the highway and getting hurt. Ah.....I was in the military for 20 years so I've never used drugs so........I haven't had any of those "bizarre" thoughts. Were the rocks pretty colors? LOL! No - no drugs in the system at that time. It was just really odd looking - miles and miles of fencing with all of these rocks lined up on the pasture side of the fence, no cattle around. If you're ever driving on Highway 287 in Texas somewhere between Wichita Falls and Amarillo - you'll see the stretch of road I mean. Every time I drive through there, the same scene greets me with the same thoughts going through my head.

Kinetickid, that's not so bizarre if you've driven overseas. It's not that hard to get used to BUT if you have to react quickly you will almost always react as if your in the states driving. At 1am going 70 mph I came on a round-a-bout unexpectedly. Thank God there wasn't a car coming because I went left instead of right.

I respectfully submit this from WhastingThyme:
"I think that we should start a group that takes young people who are in debt and makes them carry our urn full of ashes around with them until they complete their snowball plan to pay off their debt. Nothing will motivate you to NOT buy that cool pair of shoes like having to tote around a 25 lb jar full of some strangers cremains."

LMAO, Archie! Thyme cracks me up sometimes. Now, if they had to not only carry the ashes but wear the deceased's old polyester clothes with big lapels debt would be gone even faster!

I have the "crash into that phone pole" thought too. It's more wondering what it'd be like that suicidal. And on that note, I don't like heights not because I don't like being up that high but because I'm afraid I'll jump. I get that urge.

Apple, it's like a strange pull to do something just to see what it'd be like even if you know it might kill you. WTF?

Do Smurfs have litters? How do you ensure genetic variety when there is only one female Smurf in the entire village?

Ok, now that we're on smurfs and genetics, I've always wondered (and no, I don't see the connection either and I won't elaborate too much because I don't want to get the thread sent to the adult board) if a hermaphrodite can impregnate her/himself? I know they can get pregnant, and I know they can get women pregnant, but could they get themself pregnant? Would there not be enough genetic variation to make a fetus viable? Yeah, it's weird...

Maybe they are like the dinosaurs on Jurassic Park, but instead of being all female they're all male?
