I'll agree but also not going to go overboard when i don't see it and as bad are those from another side , their reactions. From the thread I pulled up..those who were reacting so strenuously were full of it...saw nothing wrong in the changes made,,regarding the question and explanation of that part of their history..Slavery, Planatations...just a deeper into the period then before...the reactions , that was BS.

I consider it unconscionable and un-American when states try to "whitewash" their history. This is a major insult to blacks and Native Americans - and their ancestors. What good is history if it isn't "true" history? Just imagine trying to invest in the stock markets without "true" history. That's a fair statement. |

If it gets thru, will you move to a more progressive area, such as Paris France? ;D Just kidding. I know you would stay and fight the good fight. Maybe I can become your new next door neighbor. I will have lots of liberal party fund raisers. Can we park in your driveway? Sorry, our POA does not allow overnight parking of campers in the driveway, but believe it or not, our fair city is considered a liberal bastion in a conservative county. Has to do with the Liberal University that calls our fair city home. We also have several known "human resource officers " who call this area home, so you would be welcome in the Neighborhood.  |
