BTW , for any Blondie Fans here, they are releasing a new album available on amazon called "Panic of Girls". I really regret that i never saw Blondie in concert. I guess they are still doing some touring. I really, really hope they will schedule a tour date somewhere within driving distance so i could go. GM, Fritz. I am a big Blondie fan. Thanks for the info.

Cool! I think Blondie really has to be my all time favorite band (other than my current fascination and worship of Lady Gaga). I really seem to tend toward female voices and singers. I love Pat Benatar and the Go-gos and Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac and so forth. I am starting to listen to Katy Perry and i really like her as well. What is your Fave Blondie Album? I LOVE Plastic Letters. I think there are some rockin' songs on there like Detroit 442, Love at the Pier and so forth. I also think their No Exit album was stellar. And, Eat to the Beat has some great songs. I don't really know the name of any of her albums. I'm horrible. But there are certain songs by her that I love and that's about it. I love Heart of Glass, Call Me, One Way or Another, Rapture, and the Tide is High. Those are the ones I love. I like Gaga ok too. She's very different, no doubt. ;D

Fleetwood Mac is definitely at the top of my all time favorite list. Christine McVie and Stevie have such totally different voices, both unique in style but beautiful. I tend to lean more toward Stevie.

I tend to lean more toward Stevie. I love the raspy, throaty quality of Stevie's voice. It is very unique. Christine is a competent singer and some of her songs are good but not quite on the same level. I also really like Highway 101 when they had Paula as she had a very Stevie type voice and some great songs. Unfortunately, they broke up and i don't know what has happened to them. I don't think I've heard of Highway 101. I need to youtube them and check them out.

Did You know Blondie got very upset because they never inducted her into the Hall of Fame? I don't know if they have by now but at one point she wasn't a few years back. That had to be a big slap in the face for her because she made some great songs!

I like "The Bed You Made For Me" and others. They haven't been around for years but i still listen to them as i put all my old CDs on my Ipod. Heck, i have albums of the Andrew Sisters. If you want some music that makes you happy, you cannot listen to the Andrew Sisters without tapping your foot and a smile. Songs like "Six Jerks in a Jeep", Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Oh Johnny, Tippi Tippi Tin, Rum and Coke A Cola. You cannot be sad and listen to the Andrew Sisters. Lol! I remember Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. I loved it. ;D

Honestly, listen to some Andrew Sisters and get a used CD or something. It is just Suzy Sunshine Pumper music all the way. I sure will. I use youtube a lot! That's how I find new bands or whatever that I'm not up on. I want to hear these Andrew Sisters. I'm sure I have heard them and once I find their music I will recognize it immediately. I know a lot of different kinds of Music. Sounds like You have a fun filled weekend planned. Hope you have fun! I certainly intend on some fun. Need a manicure/pedi. Probably will get that done. Might have a few social drinks with my Man and who knows what else? ;D

Seems like Gaga is on a bit of hiatus. I am just waiting with baited breath for her to announce her next tour dates. Have you heard her song, "You and I"?

She always wears the most Outrageous Costumes, doesn't she? You have to commend her for not caring what people think. She does her own thing. I like that. Reminds me a lot of Madonna back in the day.

When going to a concert or enjoying a performance, just let yourself go. Why not? I screamed like a little girl at Justin Bieber with my daughter. Why not? Have fun. Too many people do the "well they are not as good as the Beatles" or whatever. Who cares? I am enjoying them TODAY. Not a big Bieber fan. He seems stuck up or something. I don't know, maybe I'm reading him wrong.

I am not either. I went because my daughter loves him. So, i can pretend to love and enjoy him to and have fun with her. Too many naysayers in the world, so it sometimes you just join in someone else's parade. When i go to any event, i like to pretend i am the world's biggest fan. I can allow myself to get into the moment. We went to some minor league baseball and hockey games and i cheered like it was the most important thing in the world to me. It wasn't. But, i figure for 2 hours i can go and cheer people on and enjoy some moments of fandom. LOL! I don't blame You. I would have probably gone just for the hell of it. ;D
