I (we) just sat and listened to someone pat themselves on the back for 35 minutes.. We all smiled a knowing smile when the individual thanked us for listening attentively..

Never offer pseudo compliments to anyone just to keep them pumped and on your side, fearing, telling them they are novice at best in word or deed.. They will become even bigger fools (no offense) by false compliments and become a laughing stocked joke among their peers..
