Fluffy is having a hard time understanding these precious metal prices: 1) Fluffy cannot eat them 2) They don't keep Fluffy warm 3) A pile of them - are too lumpy to sleep on 4) They cannot be used for fuel 5) In the litter box - they have no absorbing qualities
But all the girl cats - seem to be attracted to the shiny metals.

Wait - Fluffy is giving investment hints for today - I think? Fluffy knocked a gold coin into the corner. Followed by - rolling a bottle of cooking oil onto it. Then carried a black cloth over there - and covered them both up. Thats it! Black gold - OIL - we have Fluffys pick for the day!

Hi Houston (and Fluffy)! Long time no read. Dow down another 100 at the open; gold up to $1,880. This is getting ridiculous.

That was Fluffy's response also - almost broke a tooth trying to eat the stuff.

What can I say? When the market jitters; buy what glitters.

In Houston, just remember 4 simple words,'It's a old tradition' Understanding those words is a whole different ball game however.

We're all just waiting for the event that will be akin to the roach motel catching fire and cock roaches running for the door and an assortment of non intended consequences ...can't wait for the show to begin Frank, AS you may recall, we reset the numbers in April!!! Again I think it will be worth the waite to hold off major Stock purchase until the Sept-Oct buying season!! No rush It will be fun watching the fireworks in Germany when Alex Weber will be proven correct. . Haircuts in Greek bonds will kill the Germany Banking system as the delay has cost the Bundesbank dearly!! Germany will have to bail out the Landesbanks again . . Like West LB and others state owned banks that have almost 100% of the capital from bonds of the state!! Again.. Nestle is worth more then all the Banks in Germany!! Just a thought, Bi Metal AKA Bruce Attachments:

In Houston thank you for the PM's about oil investing. We still have a lot more questions.

I hear ya wxyz, it's all about buying when p/e are good! I plan on investing my dividends the old fashioned way anyway. A great way to keep some powder dry IMO.
Thanks for the info, it's nice to get an idea of what is really important in being a successful investor!
