This go around, we should just let the financial system collapse and start fresh using the constitution as our guide.

Black Monday might be canceled today. Futures went from -200 Sat to +50 this morning. Nothing has changed, PIIGS still going to fail. We are still running more and more of a balance of trade debt every month. Wages still falling. Unemployment still rising. Bankruptcies still increasing. Just wait until the extended unemployment benefits cease in Jan 2012. 7.9 Billion a month less in our economy.

I'm reading that Ghaddafi is trapped in Libya's Tripoli with rebels controlling 95% of the nation now. With his capture or death eminent, the markets will drop solely based on the event because they originally rose when the fighting broke out. It puts the oil up for grabs. All the big financials announce major lay-offs today because they've run out of Kool-Aid. HP... which owns Compaq... is putting it's PC business up for sale at the same time Dell goes for guidance and lay-offs.
It is fundamentally significant to have WORKING PEOPLE in an economy so they buy stuff. THAT is how a business remains vital, not amassing wealth and playing gambler all day every day in the markets. If you are STUPID enough to remain in the markets now, you might have good days but like a trip to the casino... the more you play, the more likely your capital erodes as your "luck" decays. I'll say it again... THE BEST place for your money is lifting your local economy to make WHERE YOU LIVE self-sustaining. Anything else guarantees failure.
