I've been bullish on gold since time immemorial and even I didn't expect this kind of breakout, especially in the face of a climbing USDX post-default-crisis.
I think it's official: the world has called "bull honky" on the US administration's toothless deficit reduction plan.

Yup, and I also did not expect this kind of breakout this quick. We know things are really serious when gold and dollar rise together and stocks get hammered. By the way, I believe if not for PPT overtime working, stocks would be hurt real bad about now.

You're not kidding about the Euro-meltdown, Bruce. ZH headline from 30 min. ago: "ITALY BREAKS: Entire FTSE MIB Is Now Suspended". Now where is that nice pentagram chart showing how each European nation's assets are the others' liabilities?

I will only rehash this original warning to metals investors this once... ANY venue overloaded with paranoid gamble-addicted investors will fall if solely by the volume in it. We don't use precious metals in everyday living. The value is determined by a BUYER, so last man in gets BURNED. In this case, expect the burn to be big. Gold trades around $350 in a healthy market. $250 in a lackluster economy. Where it is now is so far off the edge of the cliff that it cannot possibly sustain the price. Sure, it can go higher, but with stability.

Great Question. . I like to hear what they have to say.. Do you like know what then think?? Made us money over the last year.. right, Bruce Look what year who was in the Depression.. Does not incluce the long Depression of 1876-1899 where Germany took over the export of steel from Sweeden and England due to very low wages.. Like the USA is doing now!!! Attachments:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- heard over the weekend that the ecu is going to start buying Italian and spain bonds..........
i ask..........
how do they do that with no money? they can't print money, and they don't have 'cash on hand', so how do they buy these bonds?
rumor is....... that we (the fed) is floating the money because we can print it, and the fed does not have to account for the printing. bruce- what do you think of this? how else does the ecu come up with that kind of money? there is no other way, but the fed.
the last accounting of the ecu was that they had 5 to 10 billion euros on hand, and that was before the last round of greek support. the bond buys are calling for up to 800 billion euros.

Now you might consider that the real reason for the debt ceiling increase was to pay European debt not us debt. When the 2.4 was not immediately forthcoming, it has put a crimp in the plan.
QE 3 anyone?

Fluffy jumped up on the table and swatted 2 of my gold coins to the floor - then just walked off to the bowl of kibbles. Gold peaking at $2,000.00/oz - Then falling?
Maybe Fluffy was just hungry - maybe the answer is still kibble futures.

Interesting but I keep hearing we must use silver to replace lead in the world of electronics!! I also heard something about use of silver in the next generation atomic reactors.. Less cost in energy waste to recycle U235.. Something they found out in 1941 !!Bruce Attachments:
