BAC appears lost in the woods and try to find a way out. Lot of disgusted customers, given they want to raise fees/charges. Banks will remain under pressure for some time to come with the world in a financial mess.

Lay off 30,000, then 30,000 more, the share prices will eventaully rise. Still holding out for 1,000 shares at $5.00.

Don't know which crack pipe Bove is smoking? BAC only losing 3.1 billion, with a negative P/E (when was the last time you saw that?) and a minus 2% profit margin. 2 big 2 fail I tell you. Still safer than Greek bonds though.

Call it a black Friday buy.
At least I am not paying $15.30 a share, like some fools did back in Jan of this year.
Those fools being those so-called Wall Street fund managers who gave it a buy rating back then.

You're getting close.
Opps, that was before I checked today's closing price, $5.53, looks like you'll have to wait a bit more.

Good job. I'll stick to my insurance companies at 65% of their book values, still making some profits. I think BAC might be a very lucrative investment at $5. You might get it much cheaper too.
BAC has enough capital to survive here, and even if the business gets taken out the shareholders could be saved if some of the valuable businesses are spun out before its too late.

I wouldnt buy BAC with YOUR money.....
Far too many good companies out there, to chase possible returns on this one
Banks still have a huge problem with forclosure inventories, and this one has more than most
Good luck on the buy.....as the saying goes, no guts no glory, but this one has far too many blemishes for my taste

If it were me I would be selling as quick as possible - but then I was too dumb to buy in the first place!

Wow, Very nice, if he sold!
My hubby wanted to buy but as I looked at their balance sheet I told him I didn't care what Buffet did, we can't buy. It doesn't fit into our strategy and we don't 'play' anymore, we're getting too old.
Good for you !

I believe Buffet got preferred shares at a guaranteed price for the money he put in. The rest of us don't have those options.

By the way BHB - are you buying Alcoa yet? Do you have a target price?

Alcoa's still too high for me, Mr. V. I'll start looking seriously again when it gets down to the low 9's. I'll post when it gets interesting.
Yes, that's what I told my husband, Buffets investment doesn't apply to us.... :-)
