"As for Boehner-- I think it is cool when he gets emotional. Not normal, maybe, according to what people think MEN should be, how they should ACT..... " "Boehnor has said he is going to fly commercial. Good for him" We are talking about the person who is third in line for the Presidency of the United States of America. There is a part of me that wonders if the significance that little factoid has really sunk into his reality.

...as I understand it, IL has a five day period for residents to dispute eligibility for any candidate... since no one in IL disputed him during those first five days, he ran for POTUS as a "vetted" candidate... ...imo, it would be interesting to see the differing thresholds from state to state...

Two more years of this CRAP??? Dezi-- the people have spoken. That cannot be denied. As for Boehner-- I think it is cool when he gets emotional. Not normal, maybe, according to what people think MEN should be, how they should ACT..... but... aren't liberals all about equality, and all of that stuff?? If so-- what is so wrong, in the eyes of liberals, that Boehner shows signs of emotion?? The man came from a HUGE family, was POOR, worked in a bar when he was a little kid to make money-- now he is speaker of the house of the USA. That brings tears to MY eyes-- just thinking of the hard work involved, the history of the man. SO-- you guys go ion and tease Boehner-- I think he is awesome. Just like I admire Marco Rubio-- I love self made men. This country NEEDS self-made men and women. I already commented on the birther issue, no need to say more. Obama was LESS qualified to be POTUS than Palin, and not even in the same ball park with McCain-- but it is what it is. He is POTUS, and THAT IS THAT. The videos I saw during the campaign of his relatives in Kenya describing his birth, in Kenya------ that was........... WHAT? ? Who knows. Does not matter now. Let's move on. I am going to enjoy watching Boehner work, much more than Pelosi. Hi krickitt Hope you and the family are well. How were the holidays for you? I hope good. I am really glad you are posting here. Just to set things straight, Boehner did not work in just any bar, he worked in the semi profitable bar that his own father owned. He was not really "self made" in that sense. Also, I think that if Pelosi cried as much as Boehner does, the righties would claim that she is "too weak" to be Speaker. There is a double standard for men vs women.

Hi there Sweet-I am doing fine thank you very much.
Getting back into the swing of school?
We are expecting a winter storm Sunday night/Monday morning so I expect Memphis and county schools will be closed until April. LOL
