Being a bit "off the wall" lately, and being a venturous spirit, will ride CLNT (long) this week, and thinking that it may recover to a $1 and a very small amount of change, worth a bit of high risk far out on the limb (ever mindful of "if the bough breaks" it may be disaster). Just fishin' for bottom honors to return. Cleantech Solutions International, Inc., formerly China Wind Systems, Inc., operates in two segments: the forged rolled rings and related products segment, in which it manufactures and sells high-precision forged rolled rings for the wind power and other industries, and the dyeing and finishing equipment segment, in which it manufactures and sells textile dyeing and finishing machines. Through the Company's forged rolled rings and related products division, it supplies precision-forged rolled rings and other forged components to the wind industry. These components are used in wind turbines, which are used to generate wind power. It produces precision forgings using axial close-die forging technology, which is a technology for producing rotary precision forgings. They better not be changing the name again soon or it may become confusing and SI authors will become very suspicious of some hanky-panky.

hmmm... this may be fun.
I'll go with Deere, symbol DE. They make tractors and stuff. They took a beating over the last 6 weeks for no good reason (rotten Greeks) and are climbing back nicely to where they belong.

Welcome new member Trongersoll. Yes, it can be fun and we try to make it fun by keeping it a lighthearted thread. That said, it is also an educational tool. Seeing what others like and why is good. rovo -- Moderator

STM long I own a position worth of this bought back in the Cretaceous (6/24) and it has run pretty nicely for me over the week or so (up 10-1/2%). I think it's got further to run: P/E 9.94 PEG 299.46 Price/Revenue 0.87 Price/Cash Flow 4.89 Price/Book (MRQ) 1.13 ROA 4.77% ROE 12.64% Current Ratio (MRQ) 2.12 Total Debt/Equity (MRQ) 0.22 Short Interest Information Current Month 10.10 Mil Previous Month 10.20 Mil Short Interest Ratio 5.02 Day
Maybe those 5 days worth of shorts will all decide to cover over the coming short week. The PEG is ridiculous, which I interpret as some analyst pulling a growth number out of his analysis, since the P/E part of the equation is a reasonable 9.94. When a number is that crazy, I just ignore it.
Growth Rates 1 Year 3 Year 5 Year Revenue 15.05% 1.14% 3.10% EPS 269.17% NA% 25.76% Dividend 133.33% -2.27% 18.47%

Long TSO (Tesoro - Oil and Gas Refining)
My home computer is giving me fits this weekend but I have a limit order on TSO in my personal account. Not only do I like the fact that the crack spread has been holding over 20 for the 2nd quarter but I like the current technicals. The TRIX, DMI, and CCI all look bullish for the near term.

Last week, I held on to URTY to finish North of ModE and upwind of yclept.
So, I guess I'll just have to ride him again!
Long URTY, the 3x Russell 2000 ETF.

When in doubt, go with food! This week's winner will be WEN, long. Wendy's is on the move and actually rated a buy, after announcing their plans to sell their share in Arby's.

Silver is going to open with a large gap-up even though it has been trending downward. The situation in Greece may be affecting the precious metals as the credit agencies are putting the kibosh on the European bailout of Greece. I'm going to play the gap-up and short silver but, at best, it is a guess as the week looks to be erratic at best.

Rovo, nothing short of a miracle will keep me up there. For a little forge, "CleanTech Solutions, International" is quite a stretch. They do have much bigger ambitions, so maybe in 5 years or so the "handle" will be appropriate. Could they have true ESP?

Keep pushing it down Rovo. I've still got my GTC in place for ZSL @ 14.5. It's got a long way to go to get to my buy target. And if it never gets there, I'll be heartbroken (but not broke!)

Amazing.... CLNT running up 0.06 for today.... $1.00 close. May have give up last place ambitions if this keeps up. The little forge may be getting some added foundry work. Solar panel frames?
