Usually I wake up and the first thought is "Do I have to go to work?" But there was one week that I kept waking up singing "There's an animal in twouble, there's an animal in twouble..." over and over...freaking Wonderpets urgh.

I think I have 35 or 36 Pink Floyd albums. Greatest band EVER, in my humble opinion.
I saw them back in the 60's in London - I was a CHILD LOL They were calling themselves The Pink. Fell in love at that point. Have "See You On The Dark Side" engraved on my headstone!!!
Of course the front of headstone says "Pardon Me For Not Getting Up"

Does anyone else wake up with a song in their head
Just 2 or 3 days ago I woke up with Reba's Forever Young in my head. I have no idea why because I'm not a big country fan (my wife is so I guess that's where I heard it...that or from the movie that I saw years ago). After about 2 hours I went to U-Tube & watch the video & that got it out of my head (finally).

I get this a lot. A couple of weeks ago I woke up with My Chemical Romance in my head which I love, don't get me wrong but when you wake up and continue to have NANANANANANANANANA going though your head for hours it gets a little old.

I never know what tune will be stuck in my head, I'm so bombarded from all sides by the kids - they are constantly singing or playing something, usually more than one at a time. College girl is into Korean boy bands. DS2 likes Nightwish and other orchestral metal bands, and experiments on his bass, sometimes his viola or electric guitar. Drama girl belts out showtunes from any musical she's been in (White Xmas last month, Beauty & the Beast next, but you never know when it might be King & I, Hello Dolly, Byebye Birdie, or Fiddler) or pop stuff I don't know. DS4 often sings the female parts from Phantom of the Opera, when he's not playing Taps on his trumpet from the front porch. Every so often one of the boys picks up the tuba - usually to practice a solo. They love guitar hero, too, especially the 5yo (since he doesn't take any instruments, yet).

I have sometimes songs in my head that keep me awake, like a radio with an off-button that doesn't work. Very irritating

I wish I woke up with a song in my head (a good one at least). Instead I wake up, sit up in bed, and swear. Every morning. The swear word vary. But I'm usually pissed off that I'm awake. At least DH finds it funny.... LOL!! I usually just groan in misery.

Damn,it ate my response!! I said I agree with both of you that I quoted. today's song of the morning was Bon Jovi, which at least makes sense since I was listening to them yesterday. My songs usually fade as I go through my morning. Usually. Now I'll have one that won't die tomorrow.

I could start a day listening to Bon Jovi! Especially Wanted Dead or Alive. But today I still have 18 and Life from Skid Row running through my head.

You get points for Skid Row but you could do better on the song. I liked Skid Row and Sebastian was sooo easy on the eyes. As is Jon Bon Jovi, too bad I only woke up with a song and not a visual
