Lol, I usually don't get over here, and I don't have the physical parts, but I'm definately conservative and like to consider myself to be intelligent and logical. Just a blue-collar single mom who has worked since I was 11 to afford the life I want to live without being a burden to others and because of that I have the "if I can do it, you can do it" attitude and like to hold others to a standard I KNOW they can achieve if they just put in the effort, with or without help, and with a fire under their arse if needed. That's not meant to be all-inclusive as I know there are people who NEED the help (and that's ok) but there are many more who are abusing it.
Yes, I was on WIC for 6 months and the Oregon health plan for 6 months. I was up for full-time but my boss found out I was pregnant and gave it to someone else (even though they were under 18 so I still had to do the work because they couldn't legally use the equipment). He thought I was going to take too much time off when DS was born. That full-time would have given me health insurance to cover me and my family (with me paying a lot in premiums, but I would have done it). DS was 7 weeks preemie, that health plan was a life saver, but the day after we got home from NICU I was back at work, full-time less than a week later with then-husband laid off. I'm not some spoiled rich republican, I guess I just expect more from people. That 6 months was the only time I was ever on assistance, I did it for my son, and I hope to never go back. Many of us have sob stories, but sometimes you just have to quit crying and deal with it.

How about being an honorary member or a poltical advisor for the Pack since a few of us who doin't know Jack about politics but instead have been winging (BSing) it for the past nine years here??
