For people who love cheese, SW has a few coupons that have long expiration dates - some until 2012 August for Chavrie, president's etc. They are next to the deli. HTH

For RubySlippers and anyone else who gets the $2 skincare coupon from RA:I've come up with a deal to get a RA brand bodywash for .50 using this coupon. I checked the price on RA brand bodywash today. At my little RA there is one size for $3.99 and another size for $4.99. I have a set of RA coupons on my computer (attached.) There is a $2 coupon off of the 24 oz RA brand bodywash. Unfortunately I didn't write down the sizes for those prices I checked out today. So, let's presume the 24 oz one is $4.99. Use your RA Wellness+ card, get a 10% discount, so: Price: $4.49 Skincare coupon -$2.00 RA Bodywash coupon -$2.00 OOP .49 (+tax if applicable) You can only do this deal once because the RA bodywash coupon says "Limit one per customer." Also, it says "Savings does not apply to sale-priced items or sale offers." And, in case anyone is wondering about using 2 RA coupons on 1 product, this is legit (although unusual.) According to RA coupon policy, you can use one coupon coded RC48 and one coded RC49. (You can't use two RC48's on one purchase or two RC49's.) The skincare one is coded RC49 and the one I've attached is an RC48. I usually only post deals after I've tried 'em out, to make sure they work. But, I'm actually not going to use my skincare coupon for this, as I believe I have about 5 years worth of bodywash. Instead, I'm going to buy lotion with it, because I don't have much lotion. And I just want to add this...
I interpret skincare as things like lotion, bodywash, etc. But on a couple other sites I've read people interpret the word "skincare" as things to treat the skin - ie like calamine (sp?) lotion.
I think you'll be ok with this on the bodywash, but just a heads up since I haven't actually tried it.

At Meijer I renewed a prescription and a cat came out giving a $10 Q to Meijer when you "refilled", new or transferred. I have three more to fill so last night I dropped off "one" to see if when I pick it up I will get another $10 cat. If I do I will refill my others one at a time to keep getting the $10. I have rainchecks for the paper towels and TP that were 1/2 price last Saturday (that they were all out of) so I will be getting them FREE!! Yeah for me because my stash of TP was gone. Had to buy a cheap 4 roll pack for $1 until they restock the ones for my raincheck. It better happen soon (if you know what I mean)!!

I hear ya SuziQ and Leanna! That stockpile comes in handy in all sorts of situations! We had to live off of our stockpile from about May until now because I've got a little bun in the oven. ;D For a good 3 months, I've been so and exhausted that I can do little more than work and do what I can to help out DH with DD. My due date is December 13th so I have some time to increase my diaper/wipes stockpile. I've started to feel better the fast few weeks and I've tried to ramp up the hounding a bit. Still don't have the time/energy for WAGs and RA, but I'm trying to hit CVS every 2 weeks or so. Still hounding those groceries the best I can. Can never have too much non-perishables! Congrats nickylee ! Thanks saveinla! We're very excited, especially DD since she gets to be a big sister. And DH felt a kick for the first time last night. ;D

Going to go use my P.F Changs lettuce wrap coupon before it expires on the 7/31. Yum, free lunch. jeep: Their lettuce wraps are sooooo good. Unfortunately they are just far enough away that free lettuce wraps would not be "free" ($$ for gas). DH and I will be going to see the Doobie Brothers next week and Chicago in September. We will be going out to dinner before each concert. I will pick the Olive Garden because I like their seafood portifino, and I bet DH will pick PF Changs (which is on the way to the concert), so I'll still get my lettuce wraps. They won't be free, but they'll still be REALLY good.

Stopped at Frys(Kroger) on my way back from lunch. They had Almond Milk for $2.99 for a 1/2 gallon and a blinkie for $1 off. Found bag of salad marked down to .50 the date on the bag is 7-29-11. So that will be much lunch tomorrow.

Rite Aid had something posted on facebook yesterday about a glitch in their software that they were trying to fix. I just printed one yesterday, I think, or the day before.

So, here's what I did at K-mart with the Cottonelle deal... (Special thanks to SaveinLA for remembering that I need deals on the Cottonelle double ply.) The cat from the Cottonelle will roll to another transaction of Cottonelle so long as you are buying another item that has no coupon attached to it. The cat needs something to attach to. I think I spent an hour at K-mart because I went back & forth to my car 3 times. That K-mart where I live only usually has 1 cashier working and I didn't want to hold up anyone. Best deal is if you do the Cottonelle in sets of 2. Here's what I did: Transaction 1:Cottonelle $4.99 Cottonelle $4.99 Duncan Hines brownie mix - snack sizel $1.00 Duncan Hines brownie mix - snack size $1.00 Less: Cottonelle mq -.75 (SS 7/17) Double -.75 Cottonelle mq - .75 Double -.75 DH IP -.50 Double -.50 DH IP -.50 Double -.50 OOP = $6.98 Received cat for $3.50 Transaction 2:Cottonelle $4.99 Cottonelle $4.99 Duncan Hines brownie mix - snack size $1.00 Chapstick .99 (for Catalina to attach to) Less: Cottonelle mq -.75 Double -.75 Cottonelle mq - .75 Double -.75 DH IP -.50 Double -.50 Catalina from prior transaction -$3.50 OOP = $4.47 Received cat for $3.50 Transaction #3 Vinegar $3.19 Crayons .25 Crayons .25 Less: Catalina from prior transaction -$3.50 OOP = .19 I needed the vinegar. And then I needed to get above $3.50 to use the last cat, so I figured those sale crayons would be good. Hope this helps someone. Misc:For those who do the Cottonelle deal at Wags, does your Wags carry double ply? Mine only carries single ply. K-mart had the double ply, which was just lovely. Now, I still have to figure out exactly what this all breaks down to, in terms of the deal I got. Usually with RR's & UPs I count 'em as part of the discount on the item I'm getting. But with K-mart, since it's not a store I normally shop at I had to really think on how to use the catalina's. I needed vinegar, so that was easy. I also needed sugar, but they were actually out of it.

Posted on Facebook 11 minutes ago! "We apologize for any difficulties you are experiencing with the $3 off a $15 purchase coupon offered for participating in our customer satisfaction survey. The offer is no longer available, but our stores will honor any receipts that have the survey invitation already printed on them. Simply present the receipt with the survey invitation at the time of checkout.
WTF?!

Thanks Constanz for the update. That is really weird. I have my good little RA, so I think it'll be ok in terms of them honoring the survey codes (I got 2 this week after being in a desert for awhile with no survey codes.) But I wonder if some people will have trouble getting the survey codes honored. I am glad at least that they will honor the codes. I'd be mad otherwise! I have plans for those codes this Sunday..

Yeah, BFF and I went at lunch today and we BOTH got survey's! I think I have 1 printed and 2 not printed. They better freakin' accept them. I have my doubts that the cashiers at most stores (or managers, for that matter) will know ANYTHING about having to honor the actual printed survey offer on the receipt for the 3/15....sigh... i had a feeling these were on their way out. I sure hope they replace it with something just as good or better or I'm outta Rite Aid.

Ok, I did my calculation on the Cottonelle...it ends up being 1.2 cents a square foot, which is good for Cottonelle double-ply. (I could calculate it another way that ends up being 7/10th of a cent per square foot, but I don't feel that's the most accurate way.)
Basically, the 2 calculations have to do with whether I take the cost of the other items into consideration. My feeling is that I was "forced" to buy these things in order to do the Cottonelle deal so I go with the highest price. I have no idea if that makes sense...
So I'm quite please with 1.2 cents/sf, because last time I paid 1.6 cents/sf. And, this time that included vinegar, crayons and chapstick thrown in.
Oh, and I got more Cars codes so I should be getting a $10 Visa card.

At CVS, I wanted to use one of my 10$ ECB , since I had 2 of them and I am not sure if there will be any deals in the coming weeks. I also had a 5$/25 in my account. So here's what I did.
HE Styler - 3*2.49 - used 3 3$ MQ HE Shampoo & Condr - 3*2.49 - used 3 1$ MQ Colgate Maxfresh TP - 3*2.5 - used 3 0.75 MQ Scott ES TP 12 pk - 1*7.49 - used 1$ MQ Caliber Notebook - 2*.25
Used 5$/25 Q & 10 ECB. Paid 15 cents + tax and received a 10$ Gas Card.

*Good* Update on a company I previously had problems with.
Soooo.....my local paper has stopped providing inserts in the papers sold from the dispensers, drug stores, curb stores, etc. No coupons, no sales paper, nada. I have called the paper but can't get an answer and I haven't had a chance to go to the office in person to get in somebody's face about this issue. Anyhoo, I don't have a subscription, so I needed inserts this weekend and I bit the bullet and ordered from madcoupons. I used to have a monthly subscription with them, but they went through some growing pains and suffered for quite some time (3-4 months) with their customer service, and I dropped the subscription when the prices when up. I ordered a 5 pack for 13.50 (mailing fee and all), and yes, I felt the ouch, but I ordered anyway, and I received a 10 pack of both inserts and 5 of the 7/17 SS, so way to go for their customer service! I'm curious to see if they can keep it up.....

Even though I haven't shopped there since I burned my last UPs a while back, I had a feeling that the $3/$15 were on the way out too. This is very similar to what has also happened at CVS with the $/$$ coupons. We are getting them here and there, but certainly not at the frequency that we used to.

LOL leanna: I feel particularly badly for you because RA was your "big game". I sure wish you were not in a test area for the new WAGs program. You'd think that WAGs would sh.... or get off the pot with that. How long are they going to test that darn thing before they realize that people are not going to go for it? Great job at K-Mart. My mom called me a couple of weeks ago to tell me that they had eggs for $.50 and Bar-S bacon for $1.99; unfortunately the closest K-Mart to me is 25 miles away - a little too far to go for bacon and eggs or any double coupons for that matter.
