My WAGs is SOOOOOO good to me. I went in this morning HOPING that they would not have (10) of the Deerfield Farms cream cheese that is on sale 10/$10 (but you HAVE TO buy 10). Sure enough, they only had (4). I asked the Asst. Manager on duty if they would price adjust the (4) to $1 and write me a rain check for (6) and he said, "YES". I wasn't holding any RRs so I had to pay $4 in OOP, but now I have a rain check for (6) and will wait to cash it in until I get some FREE RRs. ;D I needed cream cheese and $1 is a good deal anyway, but I like FREE better. Brilliant move! I noticed that requirement of 10 in the ad & I thought darn. You are always one step ahead Dancin Mama!

So I have to share how my day started because I think you all will enjoy this... I woke up and the phone rang. It was my friend who's my partner in crime with couponing. "Leanna," she says, "Get you a** out of bed and get over to the RA on the 99. They've got a TON of Noxzema razors! I'll hold them here for you but you need to get here now!" "I'm in my pajamas." "I don't care. Get over here." LOL. "Ok, I'll throw some clothes on & be right there." Oh my goodness, my friend & I are seriously crazy hounds. Needless to say I threw some clothes on, went without makeup & got myself over there. 4 packages of Noxzema razors - whoohoo! And - best part - they also had the SCR items that my little RA was out of yesterday (Compound W & Crest TP). So I'll get to cash out some of my UPs plus make a little money on em. That was a fun & exciting way to start off my Monday LOL!

Well, it really all depended on them not having 10 AND being willing to write the rain check; but I've learned that they CAN do almost anything that they want to so when it's important to me, I'll push it a little. The Asst. Manager DID remind me that the deal was mix or match and I told him all I wanted was the cream cheese and he caved - actually I didn't even have to twist his arm. I THINK they like me. ;D Hey, if I can't get something for free TODAY, I'm always trying to figure out a way that I MIGHT be able to get it free in the future and work to set that up.

I everyone! I too, went over to Rite Aid to buy some razors on Saturday. My ad changes on Fridays, rather than Sundays. My UPS were expiring on 7/9 which was Saturday.
I bought: 3 Crest mouth rinse for $3.99 each 4 Soft Soap for $2.99 each I used 3 $2.00 MQ's for the mouth rinses and received UPs for $1.50 each. Not so good, but I needed to "burn" the ups and I wanted the mouth rinses. I did not have coupons for the Soft Soaps, so I just paid with my ups, a $3.00 off of $15.00 survey reward coupon and gift card. I also received $2.00 for each Soft Soap. This was my Idea: I had to get rid of these UPS. The limit for the Soft Soap was 4. I needed the Crest mouth rinse. My old UPs expired on 7/9, which made it too late to recycle for any SCR items. DRAT! I just realized that I would have done better if I had bought 4 more Softsoap with my DH's card #2, rather than as much Crest mouth rinse. Double Drat! We learn every day. I also bought: 6 Noxzema for $2.00 and then used 6 $2.00 MQ's like Leanna and her "hounding friend" did. The cost was zero, and I paid 98 cents in tax for all. Yay. If I can find more coupons, I am going to buy more razors. (fighting with Dancinmama over the razors).

Seriously, SuziQ, how great are the free razors? I bought 4 papers - $2 each. So the $2 coupon I use for the razors means I've now justified the purchase of the paper. I'm at zero essentially (no savings.) Once I use other q's from the paper, then I will actually be in the positive. I have a good feeling about the .80 shaving cream q. It has a long expiration date, so I have a feeling a good deal on that shaving cream will come along that will make it free or freap. Also, I mail my sister the Cheerio's q's, so that's fun to do.

CVS was fairly boring this week. For me, I bought the Complete eye rinse and the Balance candy bar. I paid for as much as possible with EB's (there were no coupons in date) and then cleared out the rest with my gift card.
I received EB's for $7.99 for the Complete, and $1.89? for the Balance bar. NOt bad if you do not have to put out the cash and have EBs.

You are so right. For me, The Los Angeles Times is still $1.50 for the Sunday newspaper. The "Weekend" newspaper arrives on Saturdays and costs the same price of $1.50. I gave up with sending away for them and just buy about 4-6 newspapers a week. Why? I like to get started. I then wait for my friends and family to give me their flyers.
I pay for them with my EB's.
For example, yesterday, I received a coupon at CVS for $10.00 off of $50.00. This week my stuff did not add up to $50.00, so I didin't use the coupon. But NEXT week, maybe I an add 6 newspapers to the order and that CRT $10.00 will pay for my 6 newspapers.
This is why I like to buy my newspapers at CVS. Unfortunately, not all stores carry newspapers.

Hey Ladies (and sir)! NAG I know lots of you have facebook accounts for couponing and I am involved in a game on facebook and I could use some help. A local car lot is offering a drawing for the top 30 scores on a game played on their facebook page. It is for one ipad 2. Right now I am in within that top 30 and in order for them to take the top 30 scores they need to hit 3,000 likes. They are around 1,725. You NEED to be present at the drawing to win so most likely non of you can enter. ANYONE can like their page (and unlike after the drawing, that is what I will do if I don't win!) and help me get to the drawing before I loose my top spot!!
Search for: Braeger Automotive Milwaukee, WI and 'like' them. You will know you are on the right page as they will have a Game option on the left side for Bouncing Balls. TIA!

Steam mop? ? I just bought one and know a selling point is no chemicals. But I love the smell of floor cleaner. Would it hurt if I add a few drops of fabuloso or pine sol to the water? bluesclues--- I have one of the Shark steam vacs, but I too like the smell of pine sol. I worried about putting it in the machine so I just put some in a spray bottle w/ water (about 50/50) and spray some on the floor and THEN use the steam mop. Works fine that way.

When I do buy the paper, that is why I like to buy it at RA with my 20% Wellness discount. I've been fortunate lately as I've been getting the Q's from two people at work. Haven't bought the paper in a few weeks. I had found a $1 Q in an old pkg of Noxzema razors that I had at home, used that to buy one pkg and then the 2$ on the next pkg. I had mistakenly thought that the $2 Q was going to be in the inserts.....oh well it was fine anyway. Love deals on stuff that have a long shelf life.

What is the .80 cent shaving cream coupon? also everyone keeps mentioning the crest TP that is an scr at RA has a coupon but the only coupon in my P&G inserts says $1 off 2 tubes. I can't find a coupon for the crest tp at rite aid no matter how low value and with having to buy 2 it would totally be not worth it to me. Am I missing something?

There was a 75c/1$ off Q for any Crest toothpaste 4oz or larger in both the 7/3 PG and the 6/5 PG and if you use that this week, you can cash some of your Ups with a small profit. HTH

I was just looking at my SwagBucks account and since December of 2009, I have redeemed enough SwagBucks to earn $80 in Amazon gift cards! And that's just through searching through SwagBucks - I don't have time to be chasing down special codes! Not too shabby!
What's kinda silly is the stuff I bought with the GC's - a water filter for my fridge and diapers! Not fun, but necessary I guess. And today I used a couple of GC codes to buy some safety furniture straps for some tall dressers we have upstairs. Just read a horror story and this paranoid, over-protective mama went straight to amazon.com to get some free peace of mind!

Good Morning All! Happy to report that my sister and I completed the entire 39.3 mile Avon Breast Cancer walk in San Francisco this past weekend. We were both so glad that we had trained hard for the event; and that the weather was cool (as opposed to the 93-95 degree temps last weekend). It was a lot of fun--very pink! I was very proud of my big sis as she has some foot issues and has to buy special shoes and socks. Her podiatrist thought she was crazy! We walked from Fort Mason all over the city, across Golden Gate Bridge to Fort Baker, through Sausalito, Mill Valley and into Corte Madera. The views were spectacular. There were 2,300 the first day and probably half that the second. If you are thinking about this walk, be sure to prepare for it in advance. You will have an awesome, fun experience--they really take care of the walkers.
So, as a result of the walk, I did not get but one set of inserts this week and the q's within were not especially wonderful. Oh well, it was nice to have a break.

At least you didn't have to put out your own cash for your purchases. Has anyone signed up for Saving Star? I don't go out of my way to use the ecoupons, but have $4.00 accumulated so far. When I get to $5.00, I'll probably cash out for the cash. I think you can get an Amazon giftcard or Paypal too.

saveinla I didn't get the $2 Noxzema Q(Western NY) in my RP. The 80 cent Q is for Pure Silk shave cream. I used a $1 Q for the Crest that was Crest Pro-Health for Me tp.....the RA cashier scanned it and it went through... Thanks for the info!!! I tried it and it worked after a bit. I got a new cashier and she insisted on taking the coupons and sorting my order first and then ringing each up after she had scrutinized each coupon and item. She initially said no but I said I was sure the paper next to it said for use on any prohealth and could she check. The mgr came over and she said the coupon wasn't "good" for that item but I said she hadn't rung anything up yet. The mgr said then lets try it before we worry. It went through slick as snot. (I love that saying. ;D ) And now I just have to apply for my SCR. I also picked up the razors that were free after coupon at rite aid plus two soft soaps. I didn't have a coupon for them but my daughter likes it and they did give me 2 $2 ups. So all in all a decent trip.

That's not silly...that's smart! A lot of people treat certain kinds of money differently, but it's all money.

Wow, Murpath, that is amazing - almost 40 miles! Good job! LOL to Skubikky's Dr. Scholl's comment!
