Weiner....." I don't believe I did anything wrong" Oh well his constituents will have to decide if they want him to represent them from New York...but he did admit sending photos . He stood at the podium for a half hour and answered all the questions and the crotch shot was his..and he had sex conversations....what do you expect from a hims??? He lied and fooled around on the INTERNET so what He is not a good liar like others in congress ....but if he survives ?? Who knows?? Who cars there has to be a crime I think?? I'm not a fan of Rep. Weiner, but you're right. There was no crime involved here. Let his constituents decide his fate. If they re-elect him, it'd be no different than any other person being elected or re-elected for an official position. Edit: Stupidity is NOT a crime. Neither is infidelity regardless of your 'moral' position on the matter. Sorry - it might not have been a crime - but the lying cover up said it all for me.

He's a liar and needs to go. That he lied to his wife, then to his constituents, then to the rest of us... clearly he is a liar. How can he be trusted? There HAVE to be people left in this country with integrity. This guy just isn't one of them.

Hey Krickitt....I don't like to kick a guy when he is down and I watched his press conference and I feel sorry for him...he screwed up and may get divorced so I am going to give him some slack and hope he gets help for his issues.... But far be it from someone like me to throw stones at a guy who is a jerk and messed up his marriage.. he needs therapy I guess

And I've said multiple times, and I'll say it again: I DON'T like Rep. Weiner. He's certainly not my Rep. so it's up to HIS constituents to decide if they want him representing them. Lying (when not under oath) isn't a crime.

BIG F'N DEAL!!! Get used to it. Same shit, different day.

Although I agree it is a personal matter between he and his wife, he is a public official, and not just a public figure ... and those that lack self-control and display bad judgement can't be trusted with the really important stuff now, can they?

I don't mean to be flip but you will not find too many in congress like St Ignatius Loyola or Mother Theresa...what you will find are the many who are not honest, not moral, not ethical, and not good husbands or wives.....how do I know?? I used to work in VA and got to know many in congress at after hours watering holes in Washington DC

What's the problem is she running for President? No, had no idea he was married to a political wonk. Just kind of interesting, exotic and obviously intelligent since Hillary don't stand for no dummies. Interesting like Dennis Kucinich's wife. Surprising considering Weiner looks like a well. . . a dorky weaner.

Hey Weiner is in a tough place right now and let's hope he doesn't do something else stupid, i.e... get drunk and get in a wreck or hurt himself or somebody else..

I used to work in VA and got to know many in congress at after hours watering holes in Washington DC I understand that, I have never put any indivdual on a pedestal, mainly because everyone is human and make mistakes. However, when an individual runs for and is a member of an elected office they should be, or make an honest effort to try to be beyond reproach. I don't think that is too much to ask. Here this male, not man, because a real man capable of intelligent thought wouldn't be so damn dumb, has a beautiful, intelligent and successful wife. If he can't be faithful to someone he promised to love, honor and cherish, then what hope does his constituents have?

Weiner said he doesn't do drugs but likes to drink after work but would not blame his nonsense on drinking...but I would guess he had too much to drink and got carried away on twitter and being a guy who thinks he can charm ladies on twitter he went too far I I guess.... He is stupid and a liar, but congress may sanction him and that will be it.. Nancy Pelosi is probably pissed off because he probably lied to her and then admitted he screwed up.
Pelos will need to have another ethics review of this mess but the Ethics Committee will just give him a slap on the hand
The guys is a mess and brought all this on himself....he ought to resign but who cares what I think?? But if he were an ethical congressman who was caught in this mess he would probably say Sayonora and seek help but these guys are all out for themselves and think they can do anything and get away with it and be protected by the Ole Boys Club in the Capital ..ethics is a farce IMHO

See, he didn't do anything WRONG. Probably one of Breitbar's dirty trickers hacked Weiner's privat account and sent it. Nothing wrong so far, pub intellectuals.... You ought to apologize for this garbagge hellofromwarsaw and shooting from the hip with these quips aimed at Pubs is absurd.. Instead of knowing about this issue all you did was take cheap shots at the pub intellectuals whoever they are?? Burns?? Ed??

I can hardly wait to see the "spin" that comes from this. I'm sure there are hoards of dingbats trying to come up with something to minimize this situation or, better yet, how they can spin it into a positive for the entire nation. I'm sure they'll get a lot of help from the far left nut cases and the liberal media.

You guys know this woman (his wife) is supposedly Hil's lover? Seriously, they should just beat him up and kick him to the curb.

His future rests in the hands of his constituents and his wife. Yes, he is married. Jon Stewart is going to be very, very disappointed.
